Impax plans to file its marketing application to the Food and Drug Administration in the fourth quarter. It'll market the drug on its own in the U.S., where it already has a sales force in place because it has a co-promotion agreement with Pfizer (NYSE: PFE) to sell Lyrica.

I focus on Surgical ICU pain w/ anesthesiologists. I hear it works great. Love the pain pathway slide, btw. Focus on non-opoid features/safety profile.

Hell, my DM says it's a great way to grow my market with these goals.

Why would IMPAX be marketing this drug. I thought Pfizer was the sole owner and developer.
