COVID 19 is expected to kill a minimum of tens of thousands of americans!! what will change by april, may, or june?? nothing!! if anything this pandemic will be PEAKING at the dates you mentioned. don't listen to the president's false optimism. he is primarily interested in the economy and his reelection campaign. consequences will be DIRE! this is NOT the flu as many ignorant people claim it is. it is a completely different and far more lethal novel virus!! this hell is only just beginning in the us over the next 12-18 months..i agree with the suggestion that the company should offer us separation packages so that we do not have to risk our lives and the lives of our loved ones. our place of business is a breeding ground for COVID 19!! massive lawsuits waiting to happen! if the company is smart it should consult with legal and offer a generous separation package for employees with deep and valid concerns about returning to the field, with the understanding that those who refuse the package are acknowledging the risk of contracting this disease while on the job..maybe have those who decline the package sign a waiver accepting the potential risk..according to the occupational safety and health act's general duty clause, employers are required to “furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which are free from recognized hazards that are causing or are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to his employees.” this would go a long way in protecting this company from the inevitable massive liabilities from coronavirus deaths that could have been prevented!! i am close to retirement so i would definitely take the package and peace of mind! my family and health come first !! do the right thing AZ !!!

You are spot on, and don’t think for a moment, the stock market is at the bottom. The worst is yet to come as cases in the US have not even peaked yet, as you said correctly. If we return to business as normal now, the virus will spread like wildfire. I live in WA State, I have been near ONE person in 10 days, and now I am at home with a fever. I am 64 years old and afraid to get tested. My wife has me isolated in the bedroom, so she does not get it....

Dr. Fauci is a far leftist radical democrat who is out to destroy Trump. Glad he will get rid of him soon so we can be back to normal in our territories in less than 2 weeks.
 




















At least Fauci’s comments are based on evidence vs a haunch, miracle occurring or pulling something out of thin air. But everything is great, I’m the best at this, I know what’s best. Let’s see how many people go running back to crowds, work, school, etc. It’s just ridiculous.

ummmm.. Fauchi has been in his administrative medical position with the White House since Regan since the1980’s. He has served every President both Republican and Democrat. So now the deep state placed their Fauci plant 35 years ago to be in place today to destroy trump? I am embarrassed you work in our industry. Go home.

for anyone who thinks that there will be layoffs because of this clearly has no clue. . consider these few things;

when reps aren't out there driving their cars around, how much money do you think the company saves every single DAY in fuel alone? plus less miles put on cars which means less maintenance cost and slowed rate of vehicle turnover. yes this is all temporary but i guarantee the company is saving tons of money on this alone.

all meetings? cancelled. all travel to meetings? cancelled. huge savings there, too.

patients still NEED their medications. just because we aren't working doesn't mean prescriptions aren't getting filled. yes volume will go down a bit but there is still gobs of money going into the company pocket because medications are essential for people.

how much money do you think the company would spend laying off hundreds and hundreds of reps only to rehire all of them in a few months when this is all over? the cost would be beyond astronomical. not only that but to quickly re-mobilize an entire salesforce across multiple TAs? i don't think so.

maybe for smaller startup companies operating on a shoestring budget layoffs may be a possibility in all of this but az has by far one of the best pipelines in the industry and they need people to sell and launch those drugs, period. drugs do not launch themselves!! they could have an endless budget for ad campaigns but without face to face reps and SOV launches would fail.

for the people saying "oh reps aren't important this is going to change pharma its an obsolete job blah blah blah" then why are so many busy and overwhelmed offices actually agreeing to FaceTime with reps during the middle of a global pandemic? why are they telling the reps how important they are and how glad they are to see them checking in?

so everyone just shut up about layoffs - stop being a stupid troll - and go try to make the best of all of this.

Actually Trump is a moron so agree w you there. BUT, if you think I would vote for Bernie or Dementia Joe, sorry, ain't gonna happen. The Dems have tripped over each other trying to be more "left" than the other guy/gal. Ideologically I just can't do it.

So let’s just vote for our 3rd grade vocabulary businessman again. I’m not saying the other options are perfect, but nothing in politics is. To think we re-elect someone who cares nothing about expert opinion (apparently listens, but doesn’t necessarily heed it), shows his complete infatuation with himself and lack of ability/willingness to give credit where credit is due. Such a bully and embarrassment with his daily “tweets”. Can’t someone give him a lesson in professionalism? Everyone is too scared to be the next one “fired”.
 




This should not be about politics at this point. Everyone has their own opinions and views, but just remember we are working for a Pharmaceutical company and the other two don’t support our Industry. Trump may not have the best social skills but he is a genius in more ways than you can imagine! Just sayin before this virus our economy was doing great...

Exactly! My 401K was doing great up until this virus. When this is over, we need someone that understands money to pull us out of this mess. Trump may not be polished and offends a lot of people but he gets stuff done.
