How long can this last?

Layoffs will be end of 1st quarter, they are reshaping the territories to focus more on ones with good
managed care access. Using 1Q results the reorg should be done by mid-april.
This has only been discussed with managers so far.
Will keep you posted.

Yea im going to agree with the previous poster and say that from what I know the above statement is 100% BS. It's amazing the garbage that gets spread around on CafePharma. Get a life.

Its hard to believe, but the company is actually hitting its financial goals (tells you how cheap it is to make this drug). The company is not hitting its forecasts.

The mistake that was made is how they approached managed care pre-launch. This drug should've been given away to undercut OxyContin, Opana, etc.

Upper management's mindset is completely out of touch and out of tune with reality. They better start adjusting these over-inflated quotas or reps will jump ship faster than they already are. We were told by recruitment that we were going to make "big bucks" and that the company "would do the right thing". I've yet to see that. 65% of the sales force is BELOW tracking to meet quote for Q1.

People will start bailing out of here if they are given super inflated quotas and then make no bonus because nobody hits it. Especially those that have done well for the company because they REALLY have inflated quotas. Their resumes will look great because they have done well in a difficult market and other companies will snatch them up! Pay bonus for people driving business!! Make it realistic to hit the numbers not discouraging because of impossibility!

Anything ZS touches is a joke! They are the worst thing that pharma companies can do for a company. They use old data and old/outdated market models to make changes. Any time I hear ZS I cringe!

So...We were brought on with much hype and glorious tales of how we would dominate the market and change the way MDs write for pain. That was obviously complete BS. So now that we are floundering and not coming within miles of projections...How long does this nightmare last before the inevitable?
This has been such a ridiculous nightmare! No scripts, horrible management, unrealistic goals, no bonus to speak of, blah blah blah! I'm tired of this BS! Company only has enough money to last through 2019 and at this rate with very low/no sales, they'll run out of money way before then! At this point, I'm looking at it as just a pay check while I look for something better!

Perhaps you just stated the problem---you have no scripts! While I admit there are some flaws in management, it's not all that bad. Just try to go somewhere else and see how great it is elsewhere. In fact, please do go somewhere else. We don't need your attitude round here!
