How is Gilenya doing?

Welcome to Novartis people! This is the way we do things, goals that are so unrealistic that you can't make bonus! Sometimes it is better to work for a company that has an ok product, but realistic goals. After all, this is a job, nothing more...Why not work for a company where you can make bonus money and obtain compensation for our hard work! 500% increase to meet your target bonus makes you feel like working real hard doesn't it???

Many reps realize it is not possible to achieve these unrealistic goals. Two in my region have told their manager that they have given up and are actively pursuing new jobs and the manager is 100% supportive. All I can say a launch year of a potential multi-billion dollar product and the reps are making $12k-$15k in yearly bonus. How many million of dollars in 2011 will NVS lose in 20% of the reps give up? It is most likely 40% threw in the towel.

Go away keep selling PML. Biogen is built on a house of cards right now. If one patient gets PML on stratify good bye tysabri. Plus bg-12 sucks who is taking a pill 3 times a day. Teva will eat your lunch if we don't.

It seems Teva's oral med is a piece of garbage & Biogen's has to be taken several times a day. I would say at this point it's SCOREBOARD Gilenya!

I've already seen 3 patients break through on their Gilenya. This drug is crap, need not worry. All the potential risk, and STILL after aan meeting no difference in 30% disability data. Throw all the fluff you want in there about neuroprotection you want, it's basically Avonex in a pill with lots more potential for things to go wrong long term.

3 patients break through! Now that's some unreal effects.

Get that lower dose out quicker. Your jobs depend on it.

cd4 counts so low after just one month you can expect long term trouble. patients should ask their doctors to monitor this aspect. you are nuts if you do not!

Very scary with the threat of new scares of environmental changes....superbug, bacteria in foods, nuclear traces in water. Seems you want the patients to have strong immune system but instead Gilenya lowers their protective cells severely. I would hate to have to convenience of a pill at the risk of getting sick from no immunity to stuff... SCARY

if your md rx's gilenya and does not monitor cd4 levels MONTHLY both the patient and doctors are fools. you cannot insult the immune system to that degree without consequences. wait for the first lawsuit. any doctor not getting the patient to acknowledge and sign off on the worst case scenerio is a lawyer's dream! the patient is flying blind without the testing. see how far the PI protects the md's ass in court. the cd4 count after 1 month is dropping to extremely low counts (less than 100) in numerous patients. be smart and ask to be monitored. very very few docs are checking cd4 levels on a monthly basis. gilenya may work for well for some but you have to know the whole story and the whole risk involved. it's not candy!
