How do you get on Cardiology/Critical Care Division Gravy Train?

Holy shit, stop the constant Nadia bashing. We get it. You think that you didn’t meet your number because of her. You think if you had a different manager you would have met it. At the end of the day, you are the one that has to find the leads and close the sale. Not your manager. If your manager isn’t giving you the tools that you need then ask other people for help. Sitting around complaining on a gossip forum isn’t going to turn your life or territory around.

To claim that Nadia doesn’t care about anyone but herself is also a very narcissistic view. Just because you were not coddled by her doesn’t mean she doesn’t care about anyone.


Managers are leaders. They are role models. We (under their rank) have to accept their directions. It IS the fault of those in charge if there's failure. Stop protecting someone you like. Stop preventing freedom of speech. We are going to talk all we want and share similar views because WE CAN.

Regardless, Nadia was still a shitty boss. I've not talked to one rep that felt they had any support from her.
 






Therein lies your problem. Professional sales reps are not going to sit around and gossip about their managers. So you got input from the other under-performers like yourself that are looking for a scapegoat. But did not get input from the sales reps that did not have an issue with her.

Rather than wallowing in self pity and making excuses, why not spend that time making a plan to hit your quota?
 






It's amazing how much Nadia reads this, because she would be the only one defending herself, there is not ONE rep I know that's worked for Nadia that would actually defend her, because they know what an evil person she is!

No self pity here. Just facts. Nadia and Conmed were second class. I left. Much happier now. Making more money. I have a supportive team that I work with.

The problem hear is Jed was able to turn the CET division around, because of the new product not his leadership, he has just benefited from all the new products and the success of them.
Now Jed has to run a division that hasn't had any new products for years and he knows nothing about the market, so good luck there. One thing I can say is the sales reps in the CCC are better then what he has in the CET, they still continue to grow the business with no GPO contracts and out dated products. In the end, two things could happen. 1. Jed's buddie will bail him out with a bunch of new products, or 2. They may dissolve the entire CCC salesforce and add their products to CET reps. It's going to be an interesting year!

I think the writing on the wall is pretty clear with another divisions director taking over. Time to go. I'm out of here asap.

Jed did not turn CET around, it was the company’s only growing business when it was given to him in ‘16 (reluctantly on his part). The company has not known what to do with this biz for over 20 years. Suspect Jed was asked/told he was taking this over. He’s a video guy who will go along to get along as he runs out his work clock. They will keep the biz as is until they can get the other businesses growing enough so they won’t miss the cash it spins off which has essentially been the plan for decades already. So, that could be along time.
 






I came here after 2016 and I was told that both the CCC Division and the CET Division reported to the same guy who was the founders family member. Both divisions were a mess so they gave the CET business to Jed, and the CCC business to John Hart. Jed turned the CET Division around and Hart did not turn the CCC Division around so they got rid of Hart and gave CCC to Jed. Look for changes! I can't imagine they told Jed just let the CCC business continue to decline as it was under Hart. I for one, hope he does merge the sales forces together even if it means letting 25% of the combined sales force go and 50% of the managers. I think I would survive and have a smaller territory with some new products. It couldn't be worse than my current situation which is a slow. painful death ride which is the current situation in CCC.

I don't think they will dissolve the entire CCC sales force. Who would be around to help the CET people? How long do yoiu think we have?
