In effort to cut costs, increase revenue, etc., Sun will be consolidating dermatology field sales teams. Ilumya and Specialty Derm products to be promoted by 1 rep and dissolve separate business units. This means RSMs and TMs to re-interview. This will be a considerable reduction in force. Communications will start in the next few weeks.
This serves as a heads up since you can’t count on leadership. They are scrambling to position themselves to keep their jobs and next their favorites. Leadership have been told to not discuss as Sun doesn’t want panic.

Andy has until end of the year to get his head out of his ass and get Absorica up to a double digit market share or it’s lights out. There are too many reps in Derm (Biologics, speciality and medical). 1/2 sales force cut mainly in medical is on the table for early next year.

It’s bad when you find out your own district counterparts are dogging you. You can’t trust teammates or even your manager.
To the one in top 10 who badmouths everyone we all know how you are getting your scripts so stay in your own lane and don’t concern yourself with others. I don’t care who you are “fraternizing” with, leave your nose out of other territories and stop poaching scripts with your zip code temper tantrums. Worry about which hair you are going to wear instead.
