Home Office Here....

How many home offices do you think Teva needs now that they are trying to cut redundancies? Do you think both Frazer and Kansas City will both be around?

How many respiratory teams do you think Teva needs? Biologics and Core? I'd say one will be cut. With many drugs in the pipeline being biologics, I don't think it's going to be that team.

When Salyer left TR - so did the individual who fought for all of us. His vision for TR was struck down and told no more - so he went on to greener pastures.

There’s greener pastures out there for all of us - Teva is going nowhere fast.

Totally agree with this. Schultz said it would be a 3 or 4 year process. Cuts will happen again down the road.

Teva appoints Kare Schultz as its new CEO. Remember he had axed 1,000 people or 20% of Lundbeck's workforce when he became CEO to raise cash flow and increase stock price. He has been hired to increase the stock price and will do so with whatever means possible which started today with 3 top executives gone by Dec 31st. Next will be a trickle down that will effect all of us. Don’t be fooled by what your manager is telling you because we don’t know anything but what HO wants us to know. You people are smart - read and listen to the writing on the wall.

Managers have no idea what is coming. They will find out when we do. There will be managers chopped as well. They will be laying people off. That is a fact. Do not be stupid. Managers and everyone above are telling you what you need to hear so you finish the year strong. They cannot afford for people to stop working the last few weeks. Stop listening to your managers, they are on the chopping block too. This is going to be a deep cut.

Listen people.

Little to no severance (And don't give me the "bad publicity" comeback for no severance. This is ALL about cost savings and appealing to share holders. I was one who was cut last Feb who secured other employment and I still own stock. I'm in full agreement of this as a share holder. You all high and mighty left overs had a year to plan for this. MANY of you were smart and got out but most of you were lazy and thought you were better than others and couldn't be touched. Well, you gonna be touched within the month!)
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!! JINGLE JINGLE!!!!

They need US all out working all the while managers like MF sits at home does nothing other than watch golf plant more fruit trees in his back yard and play that stupid car racing game on his ipad.

Well that sounds like a full day compared to BL who just sits at home and eats and texts reps in other regions like that little girly boy MS in fresno to gossip about other people.

Ever think this cleanup could be good? Knock out the morons who were responsible for Actavis/abandoned Mexican plant? Maybe accept crushed dreams like copaxone patent- get rid of field people. Maybe I’m stupid, but we are crazy small and generate more revenue than most. Hopefully things shake out to get rid of the weak links and our TR family is unharmed.

There are reasons they pay severance in this industry. They want and absolutely need peoples signatures that they won't sue or bring a Qui Tam lawsuit going forward. With all the shadiness in these BUs over the years, it is definitely in their best interest to pay a severance. Plus, no one in the industry would stay here or work here if they stopped paying a severance in layoffs. Too many other places to work that do the right thing and take care of their people.

Kare Schultz is a typical protegé of Lars Almblom Jorgensen at NovoNordisk. He had a reputation as a sharpe number cruncher and finance junkey without any vision or ethical standards that would render him an inspiring leader for any biopharma business. However, he surely is ruthless enough when it comes to chopping off heads. Sorry about the people who have to stand this person. Good luck!

Sign on bonus or salary who cares - dude got 20 mill while Teva is 35 mill in dept and not profitable.

mmmmm seems not right to me!!!!

Teva is more like 35 billion in debt. I am not saying it is right, because I think it's just another major misstep. Lundbeck claims all he did was slash jobs to boost the stock price and nothing else. When their stock started tanking again, he ran to us for the big payday touting his achievements, which were cutting jobs. Nothing was turned around at Lundbeck and they are happy he is gone.
