The Director of Sales, RDs and DMs defend and protect the "need" for having a salesforce, otherwise they have no jobs!!! But the entire system is at least partially responsible for fleecing America with outrageous drug prices.

When you compare quality of life, longevity, infant mortality, and other health care parameters with other nations, particularly Europe, you will find that the stats in these countries look as good as, and in many countries even better and at a lower cost, compared to North America! A US physician told me he had a knee replacement done last year at a US hospital: $135,000!!! Are you kidding me? I asked him why it was so expensive. He said the hospital is charging so much because it also takes care of many people without insurance, and they need to recoup the expenses and distribute them to people who can pay, either privately or through insurance. How does this differ from "socialised medicine?????"
