Really? This is your life? Hoping and waiting for a job as a driver and posting about it here. You are a loser, son. Did it even occur to you that this is a board for sales professionals at Labcorp to exchange our insight and wisdom? It is not a place for hourly simpletons that barely earned their GED to talk about their meaningless problems. If we happen to hire you away from Burger King to take a minimum wage job here then lesson one, junior, will be to learn your place.

Rank and file non-exempt employees are of no concern to those of us who hold professional positions in our organization. Judging by the fact that you cannot even create a complete sentence, you and all of your problems are of no consequence to any of us.

To poster #46. I really think the person you’re squabbling with is picking up specimens and delivering supplies. (She has never contributed anything of substance regarding a sales discussion) I, like you, feel drivers are a vital cog in the sales department. I also think this person is an asshole – who just happens to work in the distribution department and tarnishing the good work they do.

You are poster #46. I guess you need to reply to your own posts since nobody else agrees with you. If you rely on drivers to perform your job it is no wonder that you sound like such an idiot.

Every job is important which is why this company is serviced based. If one fails they all fail. Teamwork should be very important here but every department runs on their own budget and it creates a me first attitude where each department cuts cost where they can and service fails alot of times because of it. If their was one budget and everybody worked within the constraints of that budget, this company wouldn't be so conpartmentalized and would would operate more as a team environment in unity. This company sucks. BTW that poster putting down a driver is an asshole.

Actually, I'm not poster #46 and rarely post on any of these boards. You're obviously not very smart and with poor reading comprehension - so I'll try it again.

Sales people in clinical lab realize the drivers are the most frequent customer-interfacing employees of the lab. I used the word "cog" to represent piece of the process, but that might be too abstract for you. My bad. And to your credit, you've never been in sales so this must be confusing for you.
 






I am considering applying for a sales position in Chicago/Lake County territory. From the description it looks like it is a service and sales position. Can some one give me an honest feed back as to what it entails? What is the pay range? I see so many positions in Chicago area that I wonder is Lab Corp expanding the sales force or is it due to sales turn over?
