I ditto that. There are still bonuses on the table for everyone. No one is giving that up even the RD's.
To the ass who spews out on cafepharma that they have been notified, have you let everyone in your district know? I mean if you want to do such a good deed and you really feel it will help, then tell everyone on your team. Did you fill your DM in on the good news?
If people are not looking already, then you coming on cafepharma will not help them. Besides did you ever think there are people that are looking and in their area there are not so many opportunities. Do you feel you are acting like Robin Hood for those individuals, I think NOT. You are an idiot.
So basically this all comes down to certain reps with inflated egos have been told they should stay. BFD my manager has said that to me too, but that doesn't mean shit. They want us all to stay and keep working until it's time for them to do the actual
layoffs.
I can confirm that I was told I will be safe from both my DM and my RD. As soon as the video came out telling us about the transformation, my manager called me privately and told me in a round about way that I would be safe. I then was contacted by my RD and was told that the work I have contributed has been very good and that I will be ok.
I know 1 other person who has had the same experience.
Having your manager tell you " in a round about way" is not the same thing as being told that you definitely will be placed. Sounds to me like you and the other person that you mentioned are reading more into it. Ego manics wake up!!! Being given a complement by your DM or RD does not mean that you will be safe. Have you ever considered the fact that they might be saying that because it makes them look better to upper management. If they can retain all of their people and keep them in the field working - than they might get a gold star for themselves. Grow up already people!!!
In Southern California a few long term reps and specialty reps were called by AMH to encourage them to stay.
This information is 100% true. However, if you don't get a call it doesn't mean you are out. This is ridiculous and clearly someone posting repeatedly to try an incite fear. Dude...get a grip. Encouraging your peers to leave by lying is a pretty pathetic way to try and retain your position. Sad.

RM's are calling people to keep them motivated and to keep them working. It doesn't mean they like you. They get graded on how their region operate during changeable time periods. It's a resume builder if your region doesn't go in the tank when half of the company gets whacked.
I got one of those calls. It sounded scripted and fake. I am looking at several opportunities and the 1st one that stands above the rest including BI I am out of here. There won't be much here besides the HSBS jobs and a few specialty jobs. Look at the products. The rest of the scorched earth will be covered by Ashfield.

FYI - Ashfield contract slated to end by June 30th.
It has already happened in the Northeast
Calls are happening. Scripted and predictable: you are top talent; you are important to the organization; people think highly of you; no promises, but.....
Yes. This is what I know to be true, as well. "This isn't a job offer, but 'you are valued & we'd hate to see you leave BI..."
