Headed for a cliff

I’ll tell you where we can save a lot of money. There is no need to have two reps in these tiny territories that have only brought in 3 or 4 scripts so far, or less. This is a complete waste of money. Even at their peak, it’s still a waste of money. I mean if we’re going to get serious about saving this company, that’s the first place I’d look. Like it or not, I think those territories need a second look and a right-sizing

Absolutely! This is the trend, one salesperson ownership. No way this is not being discussed right now. Could always hire again in 2021-22.

Trend or no trend, this IMO is what needs to happen here. We’re all going to go down unless we right size these small territories. I don’t want the whole ship to go down, just so we can have two reps in small city, USA. It’s a terrible business decision. How in the world can you justify paying two reps 100,000 per year for 3 scripts a week (that’s probably netting us zero dollars). No way I want to go down because of this idiocracy.

Plans were made for a launch in a different environment; don’t get me wrong as I’m not a fan of two people covering the same accounts; there is too much redundancy and it erodes ownership. Having said that, the company is in a very bad spot as for the immediate future it’s hard to justify one field rep, let alone two. Be thankful for the paycheck now and stay nimble as the future is anything but certain.

You make an excellent point. Perhaps you should volunteer to leave first. You know, to right the ship so to speak? Thank you in advance for your sacrifice.

We have two territories in our district, and a few in our region that have hardly any volume at all. In our district alone that’s well over half a million dollars a year to fund them.

Would we qualify for enhanced unemployment? Trying to figure out some finance issues, bit off more than I can chew last few months.

Yes me too....Bought my wife the Denali SUV instead of the base model XL and now I have concerns as well.
At 46, I really shouldn't be carrying this debt. I need Pharma to entitle me and my family for another 15 years or at least until I get my kids through college.
