This is all silly talk. There will be layoffs and they will most likely be announced 8/3. Abbvie will be required by federal law to provide 60 days compensation after announcing the layoff. So, your official separation date from the company will be 10/3. After 10/3, whatever severance they've offered you and you've agreed to by signing the contract will kick in. You'll get paid your vacation days, partial bonus, blah, blah, blah.

Stay if you like and be one of the reps selling this dog just in a much larger geography. But unless management deep discounts VK, sales will be going nowhere!
