HA HA! Ariprizole Luroxil not approved by the FDA!!

That's actually pretty good performance compared to the entire pharma / biotech sector. Look at Abbvie, Abt, GSK and many others. ALKS is blowing the doors off most in share price looking at both short term (prior 3 months) and longer term (1 year).

Don't bring facts into this conversation you might confuse the negative folks

These are facts

These are statistics, not simply facts. Statistics are only good when in context relative to something else. In this case, it's relative to other stocks in biotech, which are all down similarly. Thanks Ruring CEO and Hilary. Fact is, ALKS is still outperforming most of those in its group. Fact is, you are a jealous, negative, spiteful little man that has nothing better to do than down another so you feel bigger...little man!

Alkermes plc has lost 16.44% in the last five trading days and dropped 6.96% in the last 4 weeks. Alkermes plc has dropped 9.55% during the last 3-month period . Year-to-Date the stock performance stands at -2.82%.
Yes, and during that same period ABBV (Abvie) lost 21.82% in the last 5 trading days and dropped 9.84% in the last 4 weeks and 12.91 during the last 3-month period. Abbott close to the same and GSK even worse.

So.... ALKS is doing much better than its' much larger peers. Are you trying to make a case for what a great company ALKS is? If that is what you are trying to do you are doing a great job.

Back those bags bitches, game over
I would slightly agree with your rather sophomoric post above. The delay is longer than most had anticipated and some are wondering if there will need to be a second study or some other criteria that will preclude a speedy approval. So far though, management has been solid and I believe they will be solid should a major delay occur. At the very least, I believe they would give, if not generous, ample severance packages to any they would have to lay off. Remember, as many other posters have conveyed, that the real gold in this company is the two products coming out in 1.5 to 2 years. Management will make sure we are well taken care of if they have to cut us so that in a year they will not have trouble filling positon for the new products.

Maybe, some of us can be shifted to Vivitrol. I know some are actively interviewing and a handful have already left. Me, I'm staying put and am excited and hopeful. I truly believe if they have to let me go they will teat me well and give me an ample package. That's the way the company has treated me so far and I will expect they will do the same if we have to part ways. The pharma industry is small and getting smaller every day. For them not to do that would hurt them immensely for any future endeavors that would require additional head count.

For those reasons, I'm staying put and hope to be part of a group of people who build a fantastic organization that has fantastic products and an emphasis on putting patients firs and doing the right thing for patients and customers.

That's my view. I'm staying put!

Well said!

Everything is absolutely fine! Just relax and you will all see that this anxiety, understandable as it is, was all for nothing. There will be no layoffs due to the delay. Hang in there.

YO! Homie... We hired some great lawyers and one of them is a former lawyer for the FDA. He got all the hook ups there!! We're being told you won't be gettin no approval this year!! TRUTH. That's what we're being told. Ask some of your former Otsuka collegues. They being told what I'm tellin' here.

See ya. Wouldn't wanna be ya'.
Yo homie! I think you might need a better lawyer!

So do all you still think it will only be a matter of week? I wouldn't be so sure about that. Rumor we are hearing is that the citizens petition has some major teeth in it and although that is rumor we have a great attorney that used to work closely with the FDA and he tells us that we can relax for a while because it will take the FDA some time to sift through all that we have presented to them. You see, we at Otsuka hire great lawyers and we were so happy to get rid of our slackers when they all went to work over there at alkermes.

Trust me. If the rumors we are hearing over here are true you guys won't be getting your approval for quite some time.

I guess the rumors at Otsuka weren't what you hoped for. Another failed attempt by your leadership. 6 weeks is what we expected. And, here we come.

Oh please, you've been sitting home too long watching Dr. Phil. The only thing you are about to "change" is your clothes. Time to put on your dockers and go sell your me too but, oh wait, "no doc, it's nothing like long acting aripiprazole!" tacky sales message. Bye Felicia
