I would slightly agree with your rather sophomoric post above. The delay is longer than most had anticipated and some are wondering if there will need to be a second study or some other criteria that will preclude a speedy approval. So far though, management has been solid and I believe they will be solid should a major delay occur. At the very least, I believe they would give, if not generous, ample severance packages to any they would have to lay off. Remember, as many other posters have conveyed, that the real gold in this company is the two products coming out in 1.5 to 2 years. Management will make sure we are well taken care of if they have to cut us so that in a year they will not have trouble filling positon for the new products.
Maybe, some of us can be shifted to Vivitrol. I know some are actively interviewing and a handful have already left. Me, I'm staying put and am excited and hopeful. I truly believe if they have to let me go they will teat me well and give me an ample package. That's the way the company has treated me so far and I will expect they will do the same if we have to part ways. The pharma industry is small and getting smaller every day. For them not to do that would hurt them immensely for any future endeavors that would require additional head count.
For those reasons, I'm staying put and hope to be part of a group of people who build a fantastic organization that has fantastic products and an emphasis on putting patients firs and doing the right thing for patients and customers.
That's my view. I'm staying put!
