I'd rather spend my time writing a novel that actually says something instead of commenting briefly with empty criticism to project all my frustrations and insecurities onto others....anonymously online.
Also, you're missing a lot of the point. You can't just bundle ethics, skills and talent together and say, "You guys have all of this" or "You guys don't have any of this." Ethics are usually something successful people are more prone to ignore if "doing the right thing" gets in the way of their best interests. I think pharmaceutical sales environments often challenge those ethics. So the reps KILLING IT all of a sudden with large prescription increases instead of gradual increases are often the ones exploiting something that is illegal. Sure, it could just be that being in your presence is just a fucking riot and your natural flattery is impossible to be immune to. Or it could be the OTHER things you're doing.
You read a lot into my post (empty criticism to project all my frustrations and insecurities onto others....anonymously online) for my supposedly saying nothing.
And, you make some broad assumptions about ethics and illegal exploitation that is really based on nothing except what sounds like sour grapes.
But, let me be clear, being you apparently missed it my first post: in any industry, the cream rises to the top. Some people are just smarter, harder working, and better than others are (and, yes, the top of the heap is ALL of those things, not just one of them). I’m not claiming to be one of them, but I can recognize and acknowledge that there some extraordinary people out there who are successful due to their own merits, skills, and abilities. I don’t try and belittle their accomplishments. They earn them. Like I said before, talent is not equally distributed.
Just wake up and realize that not everyone does the same things you do, and success can be earned. When someone continually does better than you, it’s not because they are unethical or lucky. They are just better at their job than you are.
