Greg Meyers and Digital Health S• Show

I work in a parallel team to Digital Health and we routinely laugh at these guys. What the hell do they do all day? It’s all fluff. The “leader” is a former (non-practicing) Cardiologist who never worked in Pharma or Digital Health - instead was a commercial lead at Philips until she was canned. So let’s make her a VP and head of Digital Health at like $900k all in!

In all fairness to Alexandra, I think she came on reporting to the other guy who buggered off in 2022 or so. The hilariously ridiculous part is the other guy, Shuhat, is also a VP making $$$$ and was demoted to report to Alexandra a couple years ago. And he’s still here! What does this clown do?? We have a 20-person team. Do we really need TWO VPs, one reporting to the other? Greg’s entire global IT team of 1500 has lime 8 VPs and 2 of them are on this team. Seriously?

What the hell have they delivered? A Viz.ai mess?

And look at their titles: two VPs, most of the rest are Executive/Senior Director and the rest are all Director level. What the hell are they directing, their next global holiday conference?

Chris needs to DOGE this entire team. PERIOD.

There are a few good nuggets, I’m sure, but I am sorry: when we’re all going through deep SVC cuts, many of us working on key clinical programs AROUND THE CLOCK, it’s really deflating to see a team that seemingly just travels the globe to various conferences, regurgitates buzz words, and wastes key BMS resources.

How do I bring this up to the BoD???

don't you worry as nothing will happen. people who do not have any advocates are being cut. these folks are typically very knowledgeable ad hard working. Others have inflated titles, do nothing, have large paychecks and are related or known to someone in power so they get to stay. they are all feeding their families with blood money. they will all sink with the titanic with Chris at the helm.

It wasn’t exactly on my career bingo card that a bunch of losers on cafe pharma would be mad at me but here we are…
Oh, the facts are hurting someone’s feelings. Ok folks, King Greg should not be bothered. The “snake oil salesman” is busy coding an app, not fixing this waste in his org. This group’s international travel budget alone would have kept some critical roles in Clinical. Just look at the Digital Heath team’s LinkedIn activity. This is happening while critical functions like Drug Development are taking on so much with the cuts and still worried about their jobs. But King Greg can only tell other functions how to do their job, and not fix his team. Greg, keep playing with your f…g bingo card.
