See...that's the problem with you and the ones who think like you. It's not YOU who's pissing them off, it's the company. You have to stop covering the company's ass and just call it like it is. The company gives you less samples to work with, then sample less. Simple as that. Docs are pissed? Hell, they should. But make it clear, that you are simply doing your job and have been given limited resources to work with. If they understand that, great. If not, it is what it is.
