Picato is 2 or 3 days easy to remember. Zyclara 2weeks on off on or is that off on off? Doesn't matter. No one will care in a short time. What are zyclara's advantages? None!

Picaro has such an enormous dosing advantage it will succeed despite Leo being a third rate house of horrors. No indication for warts means. Managed care will love Picato.

It is a total house of horrors with no management or RD
Derm. experience. They dominiate and treat the reps like crap.
And, they pay their reps even worse!! Most get zero bonus,
wait till the new amature reps that sell Picato get a taste of that.
Its a good product, with a terrible company!!!

They are trying to run LEO like a big pharma general practice sales force (one size fits all, with little incentive other than the chance to keep your job if you perform like a rock star), and not a kick butt specialty sales force (with knowledge on leveraging relationships on an office by office specialized basis, with strong monetary incentives to rise above the masses and do what specialists expect and deserve). This is where Medicis has a HUGE advantage, and will leave the LEO reps wetting themselves in disbelief.
 












LOL - who do you all think you are, reps are reps and a great drug is a great drug! Leo's drug is great and the docs know it - the only docs that will write for you are the ones you incent as usual - fined again recently???

Zyclara is a me too version of 3Ms Aldara.Over priced and a weaker,less effective version of Aldara.Aldara (generic) is the drug of choice for AKs and SBCC.Cheaper and more effective than both Zyclara and Leo's worthless cream!
 












Well, I got on this board looking for some answers for my daughter who is 5 and was prescribed Zyclara for her molluscum. But i didn't see anything here but a bunch of idiots who are having some banter. If any of you are selling this stuff and have some answers i would appreciate it. Are there any contraindications to receiving vaccinations while being treated with Zyclara.

I can understand your frustration with what is going on here. Let me try and help...first, imiquimod is not indicated for anyone under the age of 12, however, if the doctor feels the benefits outweigh the risk, than it can be done. Second, imiquimod is not indicated for molluscum, but is/has been used off-label. There are studies completed with this disease state with success. Third, there are no contraindications with vaccinations, but this should be asked of your doctor. Imiquimod works through cell-mediated immunity, not humoral, and therefore should not be a problem. Also, be sure that you are receiving the branded product, as some of the generics contain an ingredient that can be more harmful to the skin and cause increased skin irritation. Hope this helps.
As a secondary response to this....Medicis reps should demand that they be trained on this product so that they can continue to inform physicians about the plus and minus' of this product. It has alot of potential and can help many, but only if you are educated on the immune system and how imiquimod interacts. Good luck!
