Stop the nonsense. First, imiquimod is safe and effective in both 5% and 3.75%. If it was not, why is it still on the market more than decade after its launch?

Zyclara efficacy is comparable to old Aldara for both AK and genital warts, so is the safety profile. Zyclara's concentration allows daily dosing and therapy is completed in half the time for both AK and genital warts.

The drug stimulates special immune receptors only found on immune cells within the skin. The stimulation causes messenger molecules that in turn cause the cells to secrete immume messengers called cytokines. The result is that the smart part of the immune system is alerted to abnormal cells and responds by eliminating these cells only where the problem exists. This is referred to as up regulating the immune system.

You won't have to talk about the science because the docs have heard it over and over. You have on excellent agent to sell and there are a few more surprises coming to make it easier to use. Medicis, give 'em hell. As for the nay-sayers, you can go to ...
 



Zyclara is a good overpriced drug that is called Aldara Lite and with the several new generics(Aldara) coming on the scene Zyclara will slowly die in about a year when the patent expires.No future in this drug.

Dude what color was the kool-aid you drank?? Anyone who sold Aldara and anyone who prescribed Aldara knew that their were numerous studies that showed a better than "Zyclara like" treatment regimen for Aldara to treat AKs, warts, etc. Did you read any of the WLFs at GW?? Remember, Derms use the majority of meds off-label.

I drink legal Kool-aid. What you know would not fill the nail on my little finger. You have no clue about my depth of knowldege on this topic. Yes, off label is the lion share of business but I am a significant fan of Medicis. I want them to do better than either 3M or graceland...

You do not have to be a scum and break the law to sell this product. Clearly you believe so and probably did so. Now get back to lookinng for a new job. You won't find one here.

Zyclara has significant advantages over the Leo product. Learn both products and what Zyclara's advantages are and you'll do well. And, BTW, does anyone on this site know the difference between "there, their and they're" or "its and it's"? You guys are college grads, right?

It's attention to detail. That separates the passable salesrep from an award winner. Granted the plaques on my wall aren't worth much, but the money that came with them is. I retired with a huge 401(k) (not from GW BTW, that one was small) and a great sense of accomplishment. Unfortunately, pharm boys and girls, pharmaceutical sales isn't the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow it once was. Thanks in no small measure to managed care. Oh for the halcyon days before managed care and when products didn't have to be BOTH safe AND effective. Good selling!
