Gender Equality at Biotronik

This is the unfortunate reality for most women who work for this company. It’s telling when the most tenured female in the company resigns only months after being appointed to lead “inclusion” efforts. Leadership may pay lip service to diversity and inclusion but there’s zero evidence of any real commitment.

who was the most tenured female?

Incredible all the posts here are from outside of the company bashing Biotronik. Disgruntled former employees (which is understandable to a certain point) are common, but I think this is more than that. There’s clearly a competitor who just enjoys trashing other companies. Same thing occurring on Medtronic’s page. Makes you think they’re trying to deflect attention away from themselves for some reason.

what leads you to believe that every negative comment about Biotronik is either from a disgruntled former employee or a competitor? i know for a fact that some of the posts on this thread are credible because i know the people involved. Biotronik just like other companies in this industry has a gender equity problem and a culture that does not support women. you’d need to be blind not to see that. calling it out isn’t ‘bashing’ in my book it’s simply stating the fact.

I think we need to make our voices heard. If enough of us reported these concerns to the anonymous HR hotline they would be forced to addresses the issue without retaliation risk to us. I think they also have to report these stats to the government so they have an interest in getting this under control. Don't want to discourage anyone from seeking legal resolution but it sounds like BIO needs a wake up call this is not isolated behavior, especially the leadership in Germany, who tend to ignore bad behavior in the US because they care more about revenue than people.
HR does nothing but protect the people they want there. The head of HR is the worst of them all. Reporting anything is asking for trouble.
