What color is YOUR parachute, lol ... it is all so predictable considering a company that currently bases it's fortune on an antipsychotic (5+Billion per year) and an antidepressant (maybe half of the rest) ... the other "portfolio" drugs might as well be generics.

Gee I wonder what kind of hunting the Queen is planning for in Spain.... maybe hunting for vixens at Ibiza?

No doubt! The imagination of Eli Lilly and Company sends shivers up my spine... but then the radio plays "I Need a New Drug" and I realize that Lilly and FIPNET and John's Glorious Voicemails about Innovation and Operational Performance and Productivity Enhancements are all to be relegated to the trash heap of Modern Corporate Stupidity. I really feel sorry for my coworkers with CHILDREN and FAMILIES who ACCEPTED EMPLOYMENT with ELI LILLY based upon vacuous promises, then stabbed in the back by unseen minions of the CEO/COO/henchman and conspirators ... anything for a buck, just let me keep the house in Carmel, k?

Agreed. Any company that has it's bread and butter in two psychiatric drugs is what we called in the old days "a one-trick pony" - the insulin franchise is toast, the ADHD drugs are steeped in controversy, the marketing gimmicks are taboo, and the $1.4 Billion Misdemeanor Conviction will be a very Dark Cloud over not just Indy but Ireland, Puerto Rico, and China for many many years to come.

The real harbinger of disaster for me was three 23-year old sexy reps walking from those marbled corridors through million-dollar revolving doors chatting walking and texting on their blackberries saying so casually "we are sooo busy!" and I could only wonder, just what were they so busy with ... maybe after several years of medical education and field work, they could rightfully claim to be meaningfully busy... but that was just sickening.
