The job is what YOU make of it....some days will be good and others no so good. I got beat up twice as a rep, once by a crazy doc...and one by a pt. who took our drug...he saw my name badge and got violent.

Spoken like a true simpleton who has no idea about AI, but "heard about it". Sales people getting in front of docs is what AI cant do. There are jobs a computer emulate, replicate, or take the place of which is to interact personally with a doc, make an appointment, build a relationship. You think a doc is going to open an email from pharma AI bot? Think how many emails you get, or application you're offered that you utilize, i bet its low. You may say you bring lunch or donuts but who cares? I don't pay for it, its easy as pie to order online, and i eat, so not sure why you think eating fun food for free is a negative

I heard this so often during my 30+ year career. I could see a combination of AI plus sales person being pretty effective. Where you really need a sales rep and reimbursement person is with buy and bill. Docs do not want to lose money on B& B and they want to see your face if they are going to spend big $ on the product. A great rep is worth the money.

Where you really need a sales rep and reimbursement person is with buy and bill. Docs do not want to lose money on B& B and they want to see your face if they are going to spend big $ on the product. the entire industry is out of touch. The Rep job is nothing more than a Customer Service Rep. it’s not a sales job, nothing close. ABL is an Admin job and should have 20-25 repots approving expenses and meeting reps for a quick coffee 3x a year. Letting Abl in offices more that 3x a years is only to show face and should not be allowed to talk except to say.., if you need something here’s my card. Non the less since offices are no see Reps should have double the territory size and only be calling on what is accessible at the moment. Let’s face it, it’s a worthless job w/ a nice check for doing little if anything.

Well paid idiots. Queens who can use their time the way that they want. Total comp including car and 401k… somewhere around $340k/yr. Time spent doing job? Who cares so long as you are above 100% to plan and not doing anything shady.

It is also apparent that you are consumed with envy that we don’t have to report in at 8 and then leave at 6 and still be accountable for all the make work you home office drones think up in your weekly “meetings”.
