Flex Time Specialty Sales Positions

Are these people out of their mind. They call this a flex time 20 hours...will pay half of what full timers get. But here is the deal...they don’t count drive time! Are you freaking kidding me!! Most flex time have a 2-3 hour drive time. Do the math. They are paying you for flextime but you will ultimately be working full-time. And since you will be calling mostly on endos you will have a large territory!! What a crock...more like what a bunch of crooks! Looks like a lawsuit waiting to happen! I rather work full time make more money than take this sorry story of a job. They are out of their minds if they don’t think they are going to have huge turnover! Turnover turnover turnover. Up the hours throw a little money in the pot and the. You may have something but if I have to drive 3 hrs each way that is 6hours I am not even getting paid for! I hope they see this post. What A Joke!

This doesn't sound legal to me. Not to be paid when driving for hours. So our time is worth nothing? Do truck drivers get paid nothing while driving? It's part of the work day. So how do they explain it to you?

How does the contract look to those who interviewed? And when is the January meeting?
Not a great contract. From how we were treated for the interviews-which was awful, to the no windshield time and the questions asked-which were obnoxious.
Not sure when meeting is.
We are fill until J&J sells off Lifescan.

Craziest interview protocall I have ever been through

Fly you all the way to IV, ask the most insane questions that have nothing to do with this position or your experience. have you sit around all day with your competition, have you almost miss your flights and no one gives a darn and then they pick the most attractive candidate to go forward.

You are right. Keep this stinking job

People almost missed their flights?

inVentiv recruiters and managers are the scum of the earth. And don't expect that you'll get an interview with other inVentiv contract opportunities when this one ends in less than 6 months...ZERO loyalty to their displaced reps.

Jeff Irwin was completely pompous, insensitive and rude.

So, my takeaway from today's interview...it sounds like the contract with Jassen for the Invokana contract team has either ended or was downsized. I know there were Mangers that were let go from that contract and are now on this contract and it was a total surprise to them. There are also reps that were selling Invokana and Lifescan Meters that are being interviewed for these position which I'm guessing is a mere formality. The person I interviewed with said they would be extending an offer later to one of these reps that has already been working the territory with the product. I'm guessing my territory had one of these reps...I'm assuming only b/c I don't know for sure. I guess that's how InVentive rolls...once you are in you get first dibs on jobs. This has happened to me twice now, a contract comes to an abrupt end and the displaced reps are moved to the next new contract. Can't blame them, it just sucks sometimes.

So they wasted a lot of people's time if they were offering the jobs to the Janssen reps in the first place
