The drop beginning the day Obama was elected was sudden and an historic market crash. The reason for the 31% drop on Obama's election was Obama. The markets had no faith in him.

These worn out loser tea baggers simply refuse to get it. They lost the election by a virtual landslide, they've been rejected by most of America, they're prospects look horrible for the future, but they still think that they can call the shots for the rest of us. They also believe that the world is a Fox news playground and that they can spin what is solid history in any false direction they please. Their house of cards has already collapsed, but they don't seem to acknowledge it, and this, in the long run, may be creating the total collapse of the GOP.
They are not onyt out of date, they're out of ammunition as well.
The republican leadership in congress, by holding on to their 19th century ideas on finance and taxing, and their total disregard for labor and the will of the people (both the minorities and the working class) is the final straw....right now.
Possibly a new more moderate conservative party will eventually spring from the remains of the GOP as it is now, but more likely the death spiral will continue until the Democrats will rule for many years to come. What was once a party of reason is no more. Call it now the "Tea Party", soon the"nowhere Party."

Funny....I'm a liberal and come from a liberal city and state background. Yet I've never heard of....what you define as "tea bagging". Obviously you've had plenty of experience in that area of life....as I expect many of your ilk have. And yes, Obama won by over 3 million votes, even more tha. Bush won by in both of his "big" wins, and slaughtered Romney in the electoral voting....
