FDE's are equal now

The funniest thing is that the FDE posting here is the entitled one. Your numbers are based on luck. Why do you think we are now team goals? FTEs for the most part know how dispensable they are, but the fact of the matter is you signed a contract that states Fixed Duration, which means you are a little more dispensable. Stop being a whiny b$$&@. The realignment will take into consideration whether you are FTE or FDE. However, if you are realigned with no position yes you can apply for a new territory along side an FTE. But, the company executing the realignments will know who is contract and who isn't when they determine new territories. An FDE will not be realigned to a new territory while a FTE in the same district is realigned to no territory.
We are all dispensable. Face it. And face the FD in your title. Doesn't mean you're any better or worse than an FTE. Stop touting your awesomeness. Get out of pharma for a little while get a reality check.

OP here:

You are correct in a lot of this. The only variable that has changed from previous realignments is that FDE's are weighted the same this time.

If the zip code needs filled they will ask the most qualified person to fill it based on ePM and the force rank that took place in August. The other person is asked to fill something else or go. FDE or FTE.

Not saying how awesome I am just trying to tell it like it is with as little spin as possible.

Unfortunately your not 100% accurate with how territories are given out during a realignment at Lilly. Tenure is #1 on the list and then it's goes down to other factors. Believe what you will, however you find out soon enough how tenure determines everything.

Great your positive, though Lilly sees things differently.

Again- to quote our CEO- we are clear about the role of FDE's.... Although we value the relationship we need them when profits are good- and we terminate when business is not.... They do NOT have the same status as FTE's. Yes, feel free to post for an open position after 11/1... If there are any?!?! What a fool- one who has no business sense other than your limited acumen acquired from the crap college you came from...

MBA from top Ivy school, 15 years as a VP, Managed Care contracting experence, and sales numbers from day one here (easy job).

I guess your are right and know so much more than me. And obviously more business sense. I bet you are the one of the FTE's that are home by 3.

See Ya.....Wouldn"t want to be Ya!!!

Price increases and belt-tightening helped prop up Eli Lilly's third quarter, but loss of formulary positioning on two key products hurt sales. The company, pushing through a patent cliff, missed analysts' revenue and earnings estimates but guided for a return to growth post 2014, when several late-stage pipeline assets could reach market.

Overall sales slipped 11% vs. the same quarter last year to $5.4 billion, as the firm missed analysts' consensus by $180 million. Behind the lackluster results were weakness in Lilly's diabetes and animal health portfolios. US sales of insulin products Humalog and Humulin fell 2% to $337.3 million and 7% to $131.9 million, respectively, due in part to a loss of formulary positioning in the US.

Will the dividend grow again, despite falling revenues. Give me a break, this has to stop!

OP Here:

It's more fun than Disney World to yank these entitled FTE's chains.

Some people are sure sensitive. Insecurity?

Knowing what I know, they should be insecure.

To the OP- you really give all the awesome fde's a bad name. I am an fte with 10 years with lilly and i work alongside many great fte's and fde's. Your entitled attitude just creates division between all of us. There are crappy fdes out there as well as ftes just as there are awesome ones. You are just a complete horse's ass- and if you don't see how moronic you are - then you are an idiot too. The fact that you have to post your accomplishments here, take down co-workers and blow sunshine up you own ass goes to show that you are truly one insecure person. Just remember- karma is a bitch and what goes around, comes around. I suspect you are probably the most annoying person in your district and area. Why dont you go use your ivy league degree and management experience and go find a job elsewhere- we really dont need you- you stand against one of the lilly principles- respect for people- you have no respect for anyone you pathetic excuse for a human being- go find a rock to climb under

"....respect for people..." AAHH HAAAH HAAAH HAAAAH AHHHHAHHHA HHAAAAA!! That $hit is FUN-NNNY!

Denial is a completely different universe.

Just telling you what all of the FDE's are being told this week by management.

Better check with your boss accordingly. And hope that you dont have any low successfuls on your ePM.

Good Luck....

Dont be an ass. We all know the epms are only as good as your manager's personality and whether you are a favorite or not. I am not a favorite because I don't kiss his ass and do all these bullshit conference calls just to get my brownie points. All the fake made up success stories that my team sends in makes me want to vomit. But, he demands it. I have always been successful until this boss says I am average. My sales numbers are 98-100% on average, sometimes 103..and my boss says that is not good. So, I imagine I will be let go. Sad, because my last job, my numbers stunk, but my boss loved me. I was the same person. Funny how some bosses make you look great and some try to bring you down. I hate this company.
All the suck up people make me sick. When you ask them why they suck up, the majority are real nice and just say "I am scared if I don't our boss will let me go".. Don't you wish you had my boss?

So, it took just a few days to get the lowest people to slither out of thier shells.

All I did was tell the truth that FDE's can now post for full time positions. Which is now true. And that as positons are posted or reallocations occur FDE's can post without predisposition toward FTE's. Which is now true.

No judgment, just some facts. Maybe I did justify a little bit because it seemed I had to. But I dont deserve this hate speach.

Suddenly, I'm the "pathetic excuse for a human being".

A very interesting sociological experiment.

Very sad...........

Hey OP. Fact- go on the HR posting site. You will see in sales there are 12 current positions- WOW... Again, if we ever have an expansion all the contracts will be long expired with the CONTRACTED hires long gone. You really don't get the nature of the contract that you signed. The fascinating psychological experiment is manipulating the FDEs into believing they have a real chance of gaining FTE status (just because you are eligible to post for a position). The company knows we have very few current openings and not many on the horizon. Vacant territories are being collapsed and realigned to current reps that don't have enough customers... unless its a division that's considered one with growth products, and I can assure you( Forteo specialty, Oncology, Elanco) will not take an FDE over a current talented/ tenured FTE!
