Fate of the Managers

Don't forget they also sit around in a circle while jerking each other discussing who should get promoted based on incomplete information and a 5 minute presentation.

Imagine working for a company where other managers talk shit about you and there whole purpose is to find flaws in your efforts and find ways to NOT get you promoted. Yeah, managers need to go. Fuck them
This is SO true! It’s horrible actually. Basically see how much ass you can kiss and assign yourself to as many projects is really the vibe for promotion at Lilly. It’s not about performance. The hardest workers are the ones working behind the scenes that never get recognized because they don’t play the game. If you do work hard they only allot a certain amount of spots for certain promotion levels anyways, but if there is a manager in your manager’s pod and they don’t know you forget it. To have these people decide your fate instead of just being able to know the requirements for promotion and accomplishing those should be enough.

Agreed. A bunch of DEI promoted managers deciding the fate of people that actually work. Ha! It's pathetic when you actually think about it. None of them even deserve to be in their position in the first place.

I can't speak for other areas, but let me explain to you what my managers look like in my area. 1) DEI. 2) DEI. 3) DEI. 4) DEI. 5) DEI 6) DEI. 7) White guy who has been at Lilly for 25 years. 8) DEI. 9) DEI. 10) Another white guy who's been at Lilly for 30 years. 11) DEI. Let's not forget about the AVP) DEI

Hmmm...something is wrong here!!

Ummm…are you saying that the 7th and 10th managers are the only ones qualified to be managers? And the other DEI’s are not??????????
Why is it that all the recently promoted managers are all DEI? The only way a white guy can be a manager at Lilly is if he has already been in the position for a very long time. Last time I checked there have been zero promotions for a white male in my area. So yes, I agree with what the person said. The DEI managers are NOT qualified. They are loud, annoying, unqualified, and cheerleading bitches

I believe what he’s saying -and what is undeniable & undebatable- is an entire race/gender of people are not even given serious consideration for promotions in favor of often less qualified DEI candidates.

Is everyone here including women in their DEI grievances? Or is everyone simply looking at race? When I look around Lilly, I see mostly white women followed by women of other races. Men of all races appear to be in minority. DEI and affirmative action has overwhelmingly helped women the most.

White women are absolutely DEI. In Lillys eyes, they will hire or promote anyone except a white male.

Like it or not, they are (were) also the biggest winners in affirmative action initiatives.
I don’t know the percentages here at Lilly, but it appears that WILL has achieved its goal of getting women into leadership. What role does DEI play now? What is the “right” percentage of women to men? When I look around 60/40 W:M appears to have been achieved. In some areas/departments it may be closer to 70/30 W:M.

We need everyone of all backgrounds, sex, races etc because we serve a multicultural customer and patient base. Should our company mirror the population of the US? What’s the goal?

Managers here at Lilly are the absolute worst! Every single one of them deserve to be on the chopping block. Especially the one in N. Dallas who thinks she’s untouchable.

Will managers be placed into rep roles and displace reps? fewer managers with more reps….. who stays…PCP DEI sales force…or Spec sales force that is more experienced…older and costs more?

I've seen departments where its 80/20 W:M. And those 80% women are bitter man haters. Unfortunately Lilly will never recover

Who gives a flying FUCK?! Fuck Lilly BD’s they all SUCK and I will laugh my ass off when the horrid bitch it mine gets the boot! Hope she’s going as unemployed for Halloween LMFAO!!!!

Maybe Lilly should get into the sperm donor business. Then, our society will only need a stud farm to produce the juice. No need for men really. Unless you need to fix something.
