Farxiga CKD approval!!!

MRP at 100% is around 100k for a CL3 and around 121k for a CL4 based on the 2020 ranges for the PC team - 133k for a CL5, if curious. Chances of a new hire PC rep getting a 130k base is pretty much impossible. Very rarely do we bring people in above 100% MRP.

Thanks for providing this! AZ pays really low. I’m a CL2 making $81,000 and was just offered a job at a smaller pharma company for 115,000 base with $40,000 bonus and it’s their equivalent as a CL2.

OK BRAND TEAM,

when the hell are you going to get aggressive with DTC with this indication? You gonna wait until Jardiance goes crazy with DTC before being reactive? 20 freaking years and you don’t think getting the message directly to the person suffering from this would create a ground swell?

You guys must be getting your DTC strategy from the Breztri team. Seeing 20x more Trelegy ads than Breztri. At least 20x.

Unbelievable.

I agree. Resources for this major indication are sparse. Shit not coming out until July. Hello!?! All this should have been good to go day 1. And DTC on airwaves? Nada, ziltch, zip. Bunch of lightweights from a marketing perspective.

Would be like the Allie generals in planning for D-Day saying lets go in light and see what happens.

Depends on what division you are applying for. I could see you getting that if you were going fora biologics position. Though they would probably pay you a lot more since your external.

For Primary care I'm not sure. I had a coworker who left and made close to that amount. They were with AZ for around 15 years and were a senior executive rep aka CL5. Most externals are brought in at a CL3 but sometimes if you have enough experience they can bring you in as an executive aka CL4.

Unsure what the MRP is for specialty roles outside of biologics.

What’s pay for a CL5? Ballpark?

Anyone notice the post on WP? epocrates? Seriously? Clearly they are reading CP and trying to show they are great. I saw 3 Jardiance TV commercials last night. How many Farxiga? 0.

Watch the airway blitz when Jardiance arrives w/ a similar indication. They have to be laughing at us. Bunch of light weights.

Poor Farxiga reps!! Jardiance getting the only hfpef for heart failure. This will be the nail in the coffin! Renal data out soon too. Turn out the lights, the 10% market share xiggy has will be gone overnight!! And the lawsuits for promoting off label primary prevention! Saw the one coming up soon from the fired DM.

Yep. Farxiga had potential to be market leader but AZ decided to go with longer clinical trials. Jardiance was smart. Do a shorter trial get a cv indication get great coverage and boom market leader. We have 4 indications with Farxiga and we still can’t move the needle because coverage is still garbage and we have no formulary advantage over Jardiance.

As their indications come out especially Empa-kidney which isn’t too far away doctors will just assume class effect and since Jardiance is easiest to write they will continue to choose it first.

This is comical. A big doc in territory asks questions of me that I know came from pre-selling HFpEF weeks ago as well as sharing that you guys will have similar indication soon for for renal. Neither are indications and are selling "off label" Farxiga gets indications & you assholes scream call effect. Well guess what, right back at ya.

Never mind that we have an indication that is the first in 20 years... Has anyone seen a DTC on ANY TV station? Fucking amateurs.

Yup. It's over. They have an opening in my territory. I'm jumping ship to Lilly. Why sink when you can ride the wave.

Competitor here: our sales team could crush you idiots with almost no effort. You shot yourself in the foot during COVID. Most docs think you’re greedy and dishonest. You don’t have anything approaching a best in class drug. Your messaging sucks and your reps are the worst. Good luck over the holidays.

Funny

I am so sick of seeing all the Jardiance commercials and literally ZERO Farxiga. My God, even Kerendia is out there pushing CKD and that product is weak. Get off your asses and spend some money. BI/Lilly must be laughing their asses off. I know I would be if I worked for them.

You listening AG?
