Restasis is generic, Combigan is generic, Lumigan goes generic in a couple years along with Alphagan, Vuity is doing 40 scripts per week... what do they need these small territories with 3 reps for? We managed Dry and and Glaucoma with two reps in larger territories for years before all this chaos.
All that was added was Vuity, which has done nothing... it's a $70 drop (that's at the pharmacy, not even what Allergan makes from an Rx) doing an average of 40 scripts per week... that doesn't even cover the contract reps cost. Why wouldn't they go back to larger territories with two reps and spiff Vuity? And when they do, they sure as hell won't need all the useless managers that they have now.
They'll cut the contract force, bring it to two reps in small territories... everyone will say 'oh, whew, were safe'... then a few months later they'll go back to the territories we had pre-expansion with one red and one blue rep.
Look around; it's obvious management has no idea how to fix Vuity (hint, the market has told us it's a flop), micromanagement is off the charts, there's a hiring freeze, and we're burning a ton of glaucoma and dry eye scripts trying to save a drug that nobody wants.
