Eye Care Launch Chaos

Why is there so many changes and ambiguity with the payouts and numbers? Are we even getting scorecards anymore? Is this elementary basketball where every participant gets a trophy and the same bonus pay out? So much shady stuff combined with silence from above. Do they just want us to leave???

They probably want people to quit so that when they do layoffs, it’s less people to have to pay unemployment/severance payout

look at the PC rankings, and how many vacant territories there are already

Look it didn’t take a genius to figure out what’s really going on at this company. In Q4 those rankings had to be readjusted because they got caught red handed. Yes a DM caught the mistake all on her/his own? Don’t think so. Others were involved in uncovering this crime. so now Let’s be realistic here- who do you think has been f$cking with our numbers and rankings? Who always wins? Well if it takes you more than one try to figure it out then you have your head in the sand. Some management and upper management have already been asked to leave for shady activities and i guarantee you there will be more shady individuals leaving. Why? Well it’s simple. The cover up is worse than the crime. The house of cards are about to fall. And Let’s see who she/he takes down on their way out. When Abbvie took over back in 2020 many fraudulent activities were uncovered and they have too much to lose to turn the other cheek. So folks there is much More to come. So sit back and enjoy your popcorn the show is about to start.

so many words boy! enjoy the candied yams my ill friend

awww, I was wondering when this pathetic little troll would be back!

his little feelings are hurt that the truth is coming out about this sinking ship, and he wants his voice to be heard!

In a world where you’re a nobody…you’ll always have CP, little buddy. good to see you’re back in the saddle!

Please tell me why they think it’s ok to rob us of Valentine’s Day and have us hang out with coworkers instead the ones we want to? It’s not a NATIONAL holiday per say, but what the actual F? It’s not even nice to do to us.

I wouldn’t worry too much about that…call me crazy, but I have a sneaking suspicion many of us will be laid off by then

Allergan doesn’t even have budget for core programs, doubtful they have the funds for another one of these pointless meetings

This division is in a lot of trouble. Let's roll through Eye Care:

Restasis... generic and losing mass market share
Vuity... might be called the biggest drug flop of this decade
Lumigan... going generic in a couple years
Alphagan... see Lumigan
Combigan... went generic already
Durysta... a niche product that isn't seeing any type of wide adoption
Ozurdex... are we even promoting this?

If you don't think they'd cut green AND combine territories, moving back to large territories with 2 reps per, you're kidding yourself.

If they made the territories larger that would require eliminating territories themselves. Or if they went down to 1 rep, they wouldn’t have to change the territories. Either way, when they change territories it reflects so poorly in front of the customer as far as call continuum. Docs are tired of meeting new reps and starting over frequently. And so much also gets lost when you take away docs reps have been calling on for years.

Lol, what? After seeing the extremely random decision to hire Syneos in the first place, it’s pretty obvious Allergan could care less about rep continuum and confusing the drs.

Add that to the fact that Vuity has been a flop, restasis and Combigan have gone generic, they need one rep/territory at most

Calling hiring Syneos reps a 'decision' makes it seem like they put actual thought into it and weighed their options... that's giving them way too much credit.

They'll combine territories and move back to two reps in larger territories by the end of the year with green getting cut sooner. If Vuity actually took off (if the drug actually worked) it might be a different story but we still wouldn't need 3 reps in these smaller territories.

All the while we're burning trust with providers by ignoring glaucoma/dry eye while pushing something they don't want and most see no need for.

So you think they’ll downsize red and blue also? And managers?

So you think they’ll downsize red and blue also? And managers?

Restasis is generic, Combigan is generic, Lumigan goes generic in a couple years along with Alphagan, Vuity is doing 40 scripts per week... what do they need these small territories with 3 reps for? We managed Dry and and Glaucoma with two reps in larger territories for years before all this chaos.

All that was added was Vuity, which has done nothing... it's a $70 drop (that's at the pharmacy, not even what Allergan makes from an Rx) doing an average of 40 scripts per week... that doesn't even cover the contract reps cost. Why wouldn't they go back to larger territories with two reps and spiff Vuity? And when they do, they sure as hell won't need all the useless managers that they have now.

They'll cut the contract force, bring it to two reps in small territories... everyone will say 'oh, whew, were safe'... then a few months later they'll go back to the territories we had pre-expansion with one red and one blue rep.

Look around; it's obvious management has no idea how to fix Vuity (hint, the market has told us it's a flop), micromanagement is off the charts, there's a hiring freeze, and we're burning a ton of glaucoma and dry eye scripts trying to save a drug that nobody wants.

Don't forget about Allergan's amazing pipeline in eye care of a bunch of phase 1 and 2 nothings. That will help save jobs!
