I have been in this Company a long time. If you all got scared by that VM from DW that was that simple and basic, I hate to think what you all would have made out of one of Dan Young's heart stopping VMs from ten years ago? He would have had you all in an uproar and you would have been carrying your resumes around with you! Many of you all would not have made it past your first six months. We didn't have text, so all communication was VM back then.

If you all would just win PC once you'd see what all the fuss is about. I get it why you don't get it.

You kids better grow up and put your sharpies away and focus on selling. Forest is about to hire 300 hungry adults that have been short on money for awhile now with the Contract Sales Force. They are coming here being told they can have full time jobs after six months if they work hard and put up good numbers. They're prior pharma, they've had the same training you had, and their kids are hungry.

Whose job do you think they are gonna be gunning for on day one? You kids today crack me up. As soon as they find out you are on LOW, they are gonna be after your job like sharks in the water.

Note to all DMs that posted above. Quit trying to sweep this shit under the rug and change the subject. Dan is a decent guy, but he could give a shit less about any of us! These guys are so hung up on PC PC PC that they forget that actual people work for them. People that have families, homes, STRESS! Quit this type of crap and just help us sell without all this bullshit! A manager is supposed to motivate, develope skills and help improve a reps strengths. Dan's VM is just a taste of what the country is moving towards. A "scare them and they will work harder" approach. It only makes reps work hard at finding another job. As reps we are not afraid of feedback, we are not perfect, but don't tell us shit like this to get us to work harder...give us tools and actually do your job! A 2yr old can tell someone they suck and they better improve, it takes a good manager to actually help them do so.
So, DMs...quit your stupid little games that RDs tell you to do, grow a set, and HELP your reps do better, don't sit back and insult us!

You are one of the lucky ones who hasn't been cruelly and wrongly targeted with an LOC and warning. I won president's club not long ago, missed it by 2 spots once, and was within ten spots two other times. I have a wall full of awards from Forest, not even sure how many, at least 8. I was a rep for tiazac and aerobid. I had a few rough quarters, I didn't think it was a big deal, I wasn't in the bottom 25% with more than one product at any point. I never had any work ethic issues and the fact that I worked hard was never questioned. I was still chosen to be put on an LOC and then a warning. You can insinuate that I am delusional and I must have deserved it and I can't possibly be as good as you. I am not going to try to convince you otherwise. I know I don't deserve it. I'm glad that some good tenured reps are still happy and being treated well, but many of us aren't.

The fucking perverbal cat is out of the bag thanks to Danny boy, the RD in the ATL. That dumbass sends a voicemail to the whole region explaining to the DM's how to scare the shit out of the reps. He said, "act like their numbers are horrible (since the data is delayed) and this will motivate/scare them into working harder; regardless of their actual numbers". "Use your serious voice inflection to make them really feel the sense of urgency". "This is how we will destroy the rest of the nation". Now I know most of the management BS is made up lies and threats, but I have never had direct evidence like this before. This is profound and speaks volumes. Dan the man exposed the whole corporate culture at Forest: THE REPS ARE SHIT and management has zero accountability, conscious or ability. Keep the reps. down and burn them the fuck out. All management here is immoral and no one cares. Don't think Brad is not aware of this either. If we only knew more of the shit they talk about us behind our backs. Shame on all of you management cowards, your nothing more than ball sucking puppets.

This is freakin hilarious and epitomizes Forest management. It's great to see people want to rise up and do something legally but don't waste your time - it has no merit. Unfortunately it's not aginst the law to be a dumbass and I doubt anyone would reagrd this as truly "hostile".

I got layed off at Pfizer before Thanksgiving. I was a Specialty rep for the last five years, and with the company for ten.

I just need a job with any company right now. They are all the same. I used to gripe about my DM daily, now he and I text each other each day to see who has an interview. It''s funny I used to hate him, now he is on my resume as a reference.

I would appreciate any tips on interviewing with Forest?

Forest hates pharma experience, so you actually have less chance of being hired than an idiot from enterprise rental cars. That enterprise person who takes your info down and then takes you to your rental is the "prized" acquistion for this company. Any former pharma rep with 5-10 years experience and 3-5 presidents clubs has less chance of being hired than the enterprise rep. and if you are hired , prepare to take A BIG PAY CUT!!
 






I can't believe you all are tripping about a VM? I heard it. I have been a rep at Forest for 4 years and a rep at a previous company for 3 years before Forest. He is not a bad RD. I have had bad RDs. No one uses VM anymore anyway. We all text. He didn't say anything I haven't heard before. You all are funny. Scared over a VM?

He was saying not to assume you are ranked high when we dont have ranking reports. That's all. Work hard cause you don't know. That scared you? I bet you get nervous when Jerry walks in your room at the POA too, don't you?

I find the USA Today more interesting than corporate VMs anyway. The worst are from the brand teams. Text me if you want my attention. The real question is why dont we have ranking reports right now? Why cant Forest ever fix the RX Credit system.......ever? That's the issue. Not an RD VM about a subject you have heard a million times.

That VM was nothing. If that scared you, you probably are texting when you should be selling and you probably aren't working hard. You kids are so funny today. You got scared by a VM? Really?

The reason they can not fix the RX Credit system is because they are too darn cheap! They hired a bunch of reps in at the expansion at a lower than normal industry salary telling them there is greater bonus potential. Then guess what? They are changing the bonus structure! And they claim they are not giving out less money, just giving money to less people is what it is. That is right, if you are in the middle, you are not getting what you did last year. So now you know what they think about middle class. That is right, the rich just keep getting richer. The reps at the top get the cash and forget about the rest of you. They don't care about all of you, only the top 25%. Forest is all about "What have you done for me lately?".

You need to wake up. The position you are interviewing for is probably from a rep that was fired and they will probably tell you they quit or left for another job. It is not likely they will match you last salary if you were making good money before. Oh and the attitude that you don't care about VMs, you just care that you have a job.....think twice. I thought the same thing and was fired from Forest (and no they didn't even come close to my last salary). After reading this thread, glad I am gone. Thanks OP!

This is so true! Take this post seriously. There are a bunch of Enterprise people around. They are not the smartest reps which is what Forest likes. Forest doesn't like the experienced reps from other companies because those reps see all the wrong things they are doing. If they try to tell you how great the bonus structure is by telling you what their reps made last year, beware because the bonus structure is changing. And who do you think that bonus structure will benefit, the company or you?
 






I've been with Forest a long time. The Hospital sales force is being beat down by Management day and night since Azaari took over and they launched Teflaro.. Teflaro is a good drug, but the company has no ability to ask what is going on in the field. If you tell anyone in management what is going on... they will call you out and let you know "no one wants to hear it". "Just find a way to get them to use our drug." "Stop making excuses", "Figure it out"... They manage by fear. Plain and simple. Just ask the old hospital DM in California (Willi Toups) who was demoted for not giving his sales reps "letters of concern" when he stood up for his reps. In March of 2011, the Hospital sales team had some 260 reps. Since then, almost 100 have been let go or quit. In the western region (1 of 4) alone, nearly 35 have been turned over... And the response is that this high turn over "was expected..." if a rep doesn't meet his "sales expectations" he will be managed out... So It makes you wonder when Azzari will get his letter of concern or formal warning letter when Teflaro isn't meeting the Companies expectations... Whats good for the goose is good for the gander... Happy to have left Forest. Be aware about working for this company in the Hospital arena...
 












Just wait..........it's getting worse. A twenty year veteran and upcoming Hospital Sales Presidents Club contender in the south just resigned yesterday and a few more are to come. Initially they blame it on the Long-Term Care reps but just as many former Institutional Sales and new hires have quit including two field trainers in the south. Gone! They blame it on "some of these people just can't hack it" but that excuse is old and can only be used in a few cases (clearly). There are more top performers getting ready to leave! Forest was the worst company I ever worked for. The Western Region was awful and the Regional Director (whom was fired from Abbott) heads up the pack!
 


















The culture of Forest has taken a turn for the worse. There is clearly a sense of frustration from Hospital reps that I have spoken to. Managers are breathing down their throats, RD's breathing down DM throats. Paperwork and more reports arent the answer. Teflaro has been out 1 year and they want u to get all these academic accounts purchasing yesterday. Management has shit the bed and has no idea what we are dealing with. Daliresp!!! really. I was laughed out of 3 offices saying no chance in hell. The south and west will crush it with outpatient clinics. Not so in the Northeast. Maybe well go thru 1 bottle a month if we are lucky. Drip Drip Drip. Wake up and smell what's coming. Many are wanting out and rightfully so.
