Team, please don't get sidelined from posts on this thread coming from generallly one person. Look at the time stamps. Stay with the strategy we discuss on our calls. We're on top of it. We know this is an outsider posting. It's not from our team, rest assured. Some people are still angry they didn't get the job, but just know we have hired an all-star team. And so have the other regions. Stay the course. We will get through this. The haters will continue to hate, while we bring in life-saving medicines that the patients need.

The new guy that just joined the board specializes in sales and acquisitions.This is about getting Esperion into a position of being that's what this guy will do. Don't believe me than check out the investor boards and see what their saying. CB has no idea what he's talking about. He's a cheerleader nothing more. And a not very good one . Multiple people are posting here and employees also. I know first hand 7 people are actively looking. If not for this virus it would be 30% turnover already. The game plan always was take.his job until something else comes after being layed off. Stock really down again today. The entire market moved in last three days but not Esperion.

Why would anyone want to buy this?
Crowded market, limited benefit. This is not a NEED to have drug. It might possibly be a NICE to have for a small group.
 








This virus may change the way we do business. In hard hit areas only device reps have access very limited to one two companies at a time. We may be looking at new ways to business. This has caused a huge concern hospitals/ staff : physicians and what the impact will be. Companies are looking at making zoom calls. CB should be looking at coaching the team on what the reality of what access will be. Lead..
 




He or the other savants have no clue to lead. The company will be sold and if new board member can get a good price for stock than shareholders will profit and Ann Arbor golden parachutes out. There won't be access for months. And if it comes back will be super restrictive. Can't launch virtually . First e months of a launch makes or breaks a drug. This is beyond CB's mental grasp. He'll have reps doing Charles Charles ambushes in parking lots,
elevators ,showing up at docs kids soccer games, weddings, family reunions etc.
 




I'm very worried here after accepting offer. Everything seemed fine and then the virus. I strictly took this job for the sake of having a job. I held out hope it would be fine here but the constant red flags have been overwhelming. My RD is a chatterbox and never shuts up. It's like an Amway viper here. This launch is in trouble before we even start. Rumours of money being tight in months to come also. This was my first startup. Never again. Looking for something else but everything is in holding pattern.
 




This is Ironshore all over again. A startup that bit off more than it could chew, and the death knell will be this Wuhan Virus work stoppage. Paying all those reps high dollars for sittting home. Such unfortunate timing.
 




I agree as we know were on borrowed time. They can't afford to pay us for months with no money coming in. It's a bad hand we've been dealt but the whole industry is in trouble and these practices owned by hospital system will go to no see status . Virtual won't cut it and online samples will be only alternative. I figure June will be it for us .
 




Decision has been made in Ann Arbor. Reps to be paid full salaries with benefits for the remainder of 2020, through December even though they won’t have to be in the field. Company looking at a field launch in q1 2021. Mtg in AZ.

join the club, I was not hired but my company is in similar straits. Its the end for the industry in the short term. A year out they can hire reps at 2/3 of what they were paying. Even big pharma is devising ways to unload reps during this virus crisis.
there will be many excuse whey they wont hire reps, hospital have cut access, insurance companies wont insure if reps infect patients, patients groups don't reps in offices etc. and many more, fell free to add more excuses.
Just like the got rid of golf outings and most programs. bs reasons

THE BOTTOM LINE AS IN ALL CASES THE TOP MGT WILL MAKE OUT LIKE BANDITS WHILE THE SCREW THE WORKERS.

Drug companies aren’t social welfare agencies.
If companies can increase revenue without reps they will do that.
If they can’t reps will stay on board
 








No way they pay salaries until December. Too many reps and managers already, and home office bloated with people. I know several reps interviewing their positions put on hold until the fall and these are established companies. With the company having zero sales, no money coming in they will not burn thru cash reserves to keep sales force.
Half will be gone before the 90 days is up, so hired end of February gone by end of May early June.
 




This is not true. It’s all about ‘the culture’. It’s different. Ann Arbor to pay all reps full salary with benefits through December 2020. Bonus also to be paid at full target rate for all representatives each quarter moving forward.

Physicians do want virtual training so that will be good. Many calls coming into Ann Arbor this weekend. The market is clamoring for this breakthrough medicine and no Chinese virus will stop or slow us down.
