This is how the Pharma game works.
CLEAR/Not so Clear is no exception.

I am interested in the Number needed to treat to prevent an event.

Triglycerides are the problem . Not LDL
75 % of heart attack suffers do not have dangerously high LDL.
 




We need to dissect the data to make sure nothing is hidden. And that goes for side effects. We don't need tendons snapping, prostates enlarging or gout getting out of control. We saw how the reps tried to massage that at launch so we have to make sure there's nothing that's going to haunt us in discussions with clinician. And your right ... how many to treat!!!

Yes let admire the heritage of the Scientific Interview Process back in late 2019 and early 2020. What a treat to be part of that deceitful process. Wasting everyone time and stealing business plans. All for what?? Layoffs came in months afterwards and the incompetents that were hand picked before interviews started didn't have the skill set to use the plans. What a fiasco. Tim M pointed the ship right at the iceberg in 2020 and Esperion never recovered. Those were glorious days!

Yeah everyone is excited about a 14,000 patient trial who’s baseline LDL was 130 mg/dl…..lol ending LDL at best on bempedoic acid will be 100 mg/dl when the goal has been 70 for years and in cases 55. Good luck peddling that and getting insurance companies to cover the drug with those results. Of course they will get an outcome benefit, even zetia did

Your such a dumbfuck when everything is with existing relationship, understanding managed care in your territory and who are the drivers and writers. This is what was missing in 2020. Oh, and how could I forget the stupid question on how many scripts I could bring in a week. Yep those idiot RBL's fell for the reps who promised thousands of scripts per week. Anyone remember the volume the entire company was bringing in per week in April of 2020. It was pretty fucking weak. Esperion was blaming cafepharma negativity for their lack of success. Total blame shifting. Tomorrow will bring more bad news and the excuse train will continue. Maybe blame covid some more. Get a good night sleep tonight as your going to have some tossing and turning nights ahead of you.
