You do realize that GI’s order CG for their patients, don’t you? Major GI society groups work with ES to advance CRC screening efforts. Would they do that if we bashed colonoscopies? You aren’t even close.

Yes. A very small amount of business comes from GIs and is generated by the reps put in place to kiss the GI asses and sign them up as speakers. What you’re doing in primary care is highly discouraging colonoscopy. Look at your sales materials and your website - it’s evident everywhere. Different sales aide for GIs vs PCPs, right? I wonder why…..

The only “facts” you’ve mentioned have already been proven false - you can SAY that you don’t position CG over colonoscopy, despite your website and sales materials pointing out all the reasons NOT to get one. You actively discourage physicians from ordering a colonoscopy and ask them to do CG first.

And, yes, all non-invasive options go to colonoscopy as a follow-up. So what? Colonoscopy can also be used as a first line screening method and its sensitivity and specificity are better, so why would you DISCOURAGE providers from going that route and then act like you support it? Truth is that you only support colonoscopy after you’ve collected that $681 for CG and the patient has a positive result. Quit pretending otherwise. You’re more than happy for those 97% of patients who test positive and don’t have CRC to go drop a few thousand dollars on a diagnostic colonoscopy, as long as ES got their money first. That’s the point - ES doesn’t give a fuck about patients. They just try to act like they do.

Just own it. The hypocrisy from ES around this issue is the problem. Quit pretending that you stand for something that you obviously don’t.

You don’t have PROMOTIONAL speaker programs that your reps can schedule. You have plenty of providers who you pay to speak. Go ask your marketing department. The fact that you know so little about your own company is embarrassing.

More attacking of the messenger, I see. I don’t work for Guardant, and I wasn’t forced out or fired from ES. Why is it so hard for you to acknowledge the hypocrisy and greediness of ES? It’s right in front of your face every day. Who I am doesn’t matter. What I say is true, and you know it. If you want to be part of a morally bankrupt company, then just own that decision. I didn’t say you worked for Guardant, only that their test sucks and your feathers get ruffled? Talk to a professional please, clearly you are not coping well with the recent news about Guardant’s failed experiment with a colon cancer blood biopsy that is suboptimal.
