Lot's of people jumping ship. Contract supposed to end in June. 4 months left and no word of extension

Yes it's crazy I'm looking I don't want to leave but my whole district is looking for new work we don't have a choice so it signs they will need all new people if they don't tell us soon it's very disrespectful!!

We usually know by now if we're continuing with this contract. Rumors are that Publicis might have another part time contract. I'm wondering if they will move us over to the new one if this goes down.

So are they rewriting the constitution or rewriting this contract? There must be a lot of sticking points if it is taking them this long. Oh well, it was a good run.

Isn't there a meeting scheduled for this fall? Why schedule a meeting if we are going to be unemployed. I was just hired.

I'm pretty sure that is going to be signed. I'm just not sure about another extension afterwards.

People every year you guys do the same craziness. stop already our boss says not to worry at least for now.

It's NOT the same craziness every year. The contract is sign usually by this time. They have NEVER waited 4 months out to complete this. When we got the extension for June 2016, we got an email within 2 weeks after the regional meeting confirming the contract had been signed. The time before that it was even earlier. So I see why people may be concerned.

Any word yet on contract? District meetings coming up-maybe they will announce it then. Interesting email about generic advair

I don't think they are going to extended it until June 2017. Most likely to December 2016; that will give them time to evaluate the situation with Dulera with a generic in the class.

Meeting next month is to tell us if we don't do a better job we are gone. 90 days notice

no they will not. I was on a contract for 3 years. If there is an opening on day your contract ends you might be able to interview but it is not a definite and you are not guarenteed job or even interview.

Only if you're a good 'ol boy or someone whose as crooked as they are. I was on a contract and watched them roll managers (more exclusively) off a contract and only one or two reps. The rep they rolled over was quite young, spaced out on scheduled ADHD meds, and half living in an alternate reality.
