ENTRESTO targets & territories

I can't believe we are even part of this mess. I guess we can resign but I feel compelled to at least collect a few checks after taking part of that month I lost of my life due to training. This is such a bad business deal for us reps. How about M. Paradisio saying no fewer than 3X that 70% of us have greater than 10/15 years and please lead and use our experience. Joke! And NVS said they want to roll us in... you got to be kidding..I've been here 1 month and I'm disgusted. These guys have NO sales and keep claiming they know how to sell...and all they do is talk about Break-Away and want to work w/ you. They are the biggest offenders of Break Away on how they talk to us. I actually had a rep tell me that they were told to show us "What Good Looked Like"!! Haha!! They have NO Sales after 15 months!! We've been sold to the devil for the lowest bid. Shame on Touch Point / PDI for this sell out.

I just got hire for this contract. All these negative posts have we wondering if it is worth it.
Maybe I should scrap it and just move on. Not interested in a ridiculously difficult training and disrespect from Novartis.
Can't believe everything you read on CP, but so far I hear NOTHING good about this contract.
Gotta think about this one a little more

In this case everything you read here on CP about this contract is true - it's not worth it. The training alone is crazy and then you have a ride along with a Novartis manager every two weeks. I moved on and it was the best decision I ever made.

Unfortunately it is true. I wouldn't say Novartis abuses us but definitely took advantage of our situation. I don't know of any rep on this contract who isn't looking. I'm grateful for a job but if you're leaving one to come here I'd think twice. Good luck.

In most cases with CafePharm it is notoriously negative but unfortunately not this time. This would be my suggestion for anyone coming on board for this Novartis contract. If you have 10,15 or more years experience don't do it. This is a bad deal for working at 1/2 pay from your old company days. In our last contract with AZ working for 1/2 pay was fair for what was asked from us and we loved it. This is not even close. When we signed on to this contract there was 450 Happy representatives to be working again and within 2 to 3 weeks of signing on very few of us were happy and every week we seem to find out yet another unpleasant surprise from Novartis.

If your new to the Industry and just want to get in know that big pharma is nothing like the good old days most of us experienced 15/20 years ago. If you think that you might end up with a stable job with Novartis know that they are economically upside down with this drug to the tune of 700 million dollars and only 50 mil in sales. You are not signing on with a winning company. There reps are scared that they are going to get laid off too.

Some people may say at least you have a job and just be happy. The answer to that is, Know your own value and have self respect. Be confident in your abilities and don't sell yourself short to a company that is going to treating you crummy.

Check out the Training tread too, that one is all true too.

Managers are rigged, stoic, humorless drones that spew Novartis BS. I wish I would of kept collecting unemployment. This is a bad contract that will not end well. People they will not role us over!!! We have to be a soul-less drones to work here. I'm hoping the contract ends on December.

I

Thanks for the input. I've also heard personally from someone on this contract.
I believe what you say. The talk has been consistent across the board.
I am leaning toward bowing out. After 25 years in big pharma, I don't think I want the headaches of a struggling drug and a manager breathing down my neck. Thanks again for the input.

I have heard from several of my contract sales reps that they are not making calls and just making them up is anyone working on this contract? Just makes for a bad name for any contract reps who need a job. I went through the training and wonder how long this contract will last if no one is really working-hoping for the best as I need a job

to the above poster
U need a job?
Why are u still in this fake business
U had time to get out
Go sell food, cell, sneakers anything,
Why try and stay in this bs, it's just nonsense,

You already know the answer to your own question.

Still in because the pay and benefits are still pretty good. Nothing difficult about the job.

I Second that comment! ALL in favor say "I".... The I's have it.

PDI... On July 28 the contract began, PDI Promised a car, or mileage and auto allowance until car the arrives. Then in August PDI tells us we will not receive an allowance in August because we are in training, then in September you will be paid your car allowance but not until 9/30/16, if your car hasn't arrived yet. If your car has arrived, then it will be prorated. Do not drive too many miles because they will be watching your mileage. Do not buy too many supplies because they will be watching. If you eat a meal with your Novartis Manager while on a field ride then you pay for your own meal. The salary is horrible and bonus' are on trimesters not quarters and you have to remember PDI will take an additional month past Novartis' pay out to collect their money off the top and recalculate. Also, you have 2 managers to answers to, and massive amounts of emails from two companies. RUN!!!!!!!!!

"do not drive too many mile because they will be watching your mileage"
Not sure what that means??? Are personal miles not allowed on the company vehicle?
Please clarify

From what I have read seems like none of you have your facts straight, nor thinking clearly this is bigger than to say "shame on you " take a class, learn laws and protect yourself

They are taking $75.00 per pay period out of your paycheck for your benefit of a company vehicle. Of course you can use it for personal use. Use the heck out of it since they pay gas, maintenance, etc. However, at the end of the month, you have to report your entire month's mileage, both personal and business miles. Get creative with this and you'll be fine.

I'm so glad I read this thread before taking this job. I'm already on a bad contract, but I have had a car since day 1 hire and ride alongs maybe every other month. I'll stay where I am. What a nightmare!

I just declined the offer today. All I've read is negative commentary and it seems by the time you are out of training mid Feb., you are in your territory all of 5 months and it ends if not rolled over......sounds too dicey to me.
