ENDO

Loser or Not. Its a job. I wish I made more but at this time with the way the ind. is Im happy to have a paycheck and a job that is not bad, there could always be better...but at this time things are good!

I'm on this contract and am pretty happy with it. I will be bringing in close to 80k this year. It's not a lot but luckily my spouse also has a job. My car is the same as all of the other pharma reps out there and I don't feel like I get treated any differently than the Endo reps. So if you are so unhappy with this job you should just quit and look for something else. People like you are the ones that ruin our contract sales force reputation. There are many people out there that would appreciate this job...

That is why you are a cso. There are people like you that lack motivation and the skill set to get a true professional career. Most people are not content with a part time job with a printed expiration date. Quit defending your worthless soon to end contract job. It is not even a option for many talented people. For you it works. For most it is nothing short of a joke. I worked this contract for 3 months and went back to Nursing. What a joke it was from day one. I make a hell of alot more now. You know you dont make anything close to the real reps out there. Because you cant. You didnt get that job.

Nice! If you were so happy with your job now you wouldn't still be getting on cafepharma and looking at threads about Inventiv and this contract. To me it sounds like you suck at your job and couldn't get a job with any pharmaceutical companies and had to leave the industry. This company does not need pessimistic people like you. So thanks for leaving

Rah Rah. Im a contract Rep. Rah Rah. I make about 40% of what my Direct counterparts make. Rah Rah. This makes me happy. Rah Rah. I love being a second class citizen. Rah Rah. I wake up each day and tell myself I am talented and successful. Rah Rah.

Finally someone who gets it! 99% of us were direct hire reps/managers with top pharma companies not long ago. Don't be down on CSOs, instead try being proud and learning about our company and industry. What we need are people who, instead of whining about being treated like second class citizens, stand up and talk about the strength of the CSOs and the value they add. CSOs are way better positioned for the future of pharma than the majority of manufactureres out there. Don't forget what it felt like when you were laid off! Don't forget how grateful you were for this gig when you started! Hold your head up high and don't let those direct hire, entitled, delusional weenies bring you down. Anyone who is treating you poorly is very short sighted since they will likely be in your shoes in the next few years. The difference? You're already on board with the leading CSO in the US. They, on the other hand, will be unemployed from a company that is not in the business of finding them a new job.

Very well said! Finally someone who gets it...

Pharmaceutical Reps are a joke to begin with...You don't really sell and most of you talk like robots and think they have the best job in the world. Nobody takes you seriously no matter if you are "direct" or "CSO". The fact that you were put in this position to begin with is because you sucked so much at your "direct" job that they finally fired you. You should be glad that this CSO company was so dumb to hire you. The funniest part is that you actually believe that you are better because you WORKED for a "direct" company...That's awesome

My god you people are a bunch of whiny brats. All you anti-contract people--get real. All you are is a glorified sample delivery service. I have never in my life seen a group of people so worthless think so highly of themselves.

It is an absolute treat to take a break from the job I love and browse this site. To see a group of self-important, type-A, arrogant frat/sorority rejects admitting that, despite getting paid handsomely to have 8-second conversations with doctors who detests them, you people are still utterly miserable with yourselves. Priceless.

You probably didn't make much working as a CSO, because you were so horrible at your job that you couldn't make any bonuses. Maybe if you put some effort into your CSO job you wouldn't have to go back to nursing. I know many nurses that are not even close to making what I make as a CSO....so nice try

If real reps are a glorified sample deliverer then what is a cso? Nothing! A loser.

I don't think there ever was a debate. There is nothing to debate. We are treated like second class back of the bus citizens. Because we are compared to the direct reps. They have the direct, permanent career positions and we are contract with no security and no respect. Period. No debating on my part.

39 to 51k is BS.

The starting salary can be negotiated. mine is 64k

Mine is not. Who cares anyways. Even if it were 100, it is a PARTTIME job that will be ending.
They could tell us any salary really. Tick Tock, We are expiring with each passing day.
I probably have a couple months left, gone expired.
