I have been on contract for Endo for 18 months. Yes, it sucks. It is degrading. The pay is horrible. I am humiliated. Do I tell my family and friends that I love it, and how successful I am? Of course. Do I tell everyone I see that it is the same work, and so I must be the same as a Direct Rep. of course. Because anything else would be admitting how humiliating this really is. There is nothing the "same" about it. I am contract, others are not. Thats the difference. And those of you lucky enough to be direct obviously have the true careers, with the good pay, self esteem, benefits worth something, pride, and most of all you can be honest with your friends and family. I am so tired of living a lie. IT SUCKS BEING A CSO IN EVERYWAY.

I love how everyone hates on each other! Its just a job, I dont care who you work for - Contact or not, Its a paycheck! Most drug reps could not make it in a real sells job! Just ride it out ,, enjoy it while you can. I think in the next 5 years everyone will be working for contract.

no not everyone. just people like you that think everyone will be content being a cso. successful people will not settle for a entry level bs position like cso's.

Finally someone who gets it! 99% of us were direct hire reps/managers with top pharma companies not long ago. Don't be down on CSOs, instead try being proud and learning about our company and industry. What we need are people who, instead of whining about being treated like second class citizens, stand up and talk about the strength of the CSOs and the value they add. CSOs are way better positioned for the future of pharma than the majority of manufactureres out there. Don't forget what it felt like when you were laid off! Don't forget how grateful you were for this gig when you started! Hold your head up high and don't let those direct hire, entitled, delusional weenies bring you down. Anyone who is treating you poorly is very short sighted since they will likely be in your shoes in the next few years. The difference? You're already on board with the leading CSO in the US. They, on the other hand, will be unemployed from a company that is not in the business of finding them a new job.

Can some one please tell me what the real salary range is for this contract? I know there are a lot of negative things said but I really don't care. I just want to know the actual salary. Thanks.
