Well I disagree Murray is not always right.

Recall a situation from the past when he gave a big grant to Chestnut hospital where his wife was employed as a surgeon. Actually this was when Murray managed the HSA program.


I would say that was a bad judgment!

If true Houston we have a problem.
A potential financial or other material interest which impairs or might appear to impair the individual's independence and objectivity of judgment (Dr. Murray) in the discharge of responsibilities to Merck and company. Clearly giving a grant to spouse's hospital in not independent no matter how you dice it.
 






so why is this stuff being put out now. obviously someone has something to grind with murray. will be interesting to see how this turns out for him. if true it will be difficult to cover up. it is bad timing with all the internal turmoil brewing with the meager.

How long ago was it that Murray Managed the HSA program? Seems like he's been at EMSA near 10 years. When he did manage the HSA program did they give grants?
 


















Wow, you can teach old dogs new tricks. Notice how "communicative" RKM is now. Three face to face EMSA meetings this year and actual emails going out to the department. Too bad it is all too late and most realize that it is all a response to the low survey scores for the department. He is not a natural leader. This so goes against his grain. Too funny.

Timing is significant as grants and business were done differently than today. Ten years ago Reps handed out honoraria, submitted grants, had better access and actually worked - even if was only Ten to Two. Today we just stay home mindlessly watching Adam say absolutely nothing, send a few best practice MVXs and wait for the merger.
