Not only should they not charge more, they shouldn't be charging anything for these cars. I don't want one and they have limited utility for any personal use. They're not lying. The car selector for those in the next wave of EV drivers is out. Good news, there are several choices now. Bad news, some of them require a monthly fee on top of the vehicle usage fee we already pay.
Please remember these are AZ vehicles for business use and not for driving to soccer practice, vacations, shopping, etc. Thank You from your HQ "friends"They're not lying. I only have a two car garage and will be buying a real car now that I'll have this go cart as a company vehicle. I don't have room in my garage for the AZ car/fire hazard or a charger. Forcing these safety hazards on us is wrong on so many levels. Disgusted with those at the top forcing this square EV peg thing through this round hole. There are going to be significant safety and other issues that arise from all of this in many territories to say nothing of the increased costs and loss of productivity.
This decision has many implications. On the one hand most understand the contribution of gas powered engines to carbon footprint, however there must be something larger than this driving the decision because disruption to a business day has costs as well. We constantly measure productivity with our total engagement reports. We talk about removing obstacles to doing our jobs, however this decision seems to have more downside than upside to field productivity in parts of the US with sporadic infrastructure. Just wish this could have been a geographically ready phased approach vs the way it is being done where if one accidentally forgets to plug in when you arrive home results in reduced productivity the next day due to miles driven each day. And LBH, not many raised their hands in HQ when asked who currently drives an EV despite greater infrastructure in an urban area.

what options are they offering in all wheel drive?
Wonder if India and China are "all in" to get their population driving EV's? I ask because these are the two most populous countries and if a great many of the vehicles are either old or diesel...especially India.
US is the first. It’s great for the environment, but too expensive for majority. People in US who own EVs for commuting to work also own another vehicle(s) for longer personal travel. We live where convenience is everything. Having to take additional time to calculate where you will be, when you will need to charge, where chargers are located in traveled geography, reserving a time to charge, etc is just not the norm. It will take many years to get there, but we will be ahead of the rest of the world.
Stop whining, bitchI have come to the realization that the senior leadership may be good at identifying winning compounds but when it comes to certain decisions regarding health of employees and the environment, they are fascists. Forcing people to get a vax that was marginally effective at best with a list of serious SE's too long to list and if you didn't, you were fired. That is so wrong. And now, we have a mandate that is forcing us to get cars that technology wise, are not ready for primetime (at least in rural areas). It is becoming more and more obvious that SET & SSLT do not give two licks about us....just their perception at a global level around the carbon footprint. Pascal, Ruud and others, I will expect you to no longer use private aircraft when a commercial flight will do and no flight at all when a zoom call will suffice. Fucking hypocrites.
Stop whining, bitch
I’m against the strip mining and child slave labor that’s used to source battery materials so I’m against having to pay AZ to provide me with an inferior EV. I’m currently interviewing with 2 other companies and they hiring DM’s laugh when I tell them what AZ is doing to us. Other Pharma companies are waiting until it makes sense to go EV woke.
Truly alarming data! Warmer oceans bleach coral, kill marine life, increase sea level rise and make the ocean less efficient at absorbing planet-warming pollution – the warmer oceans get, the more the planet will heat.Wake Up! Ocean temperatures are “headed off the charts” per oceanic scientists! We all must go GREEN now!
