Does Sanofi still suck?

It did years ago. Is it any better? Your ceo is a real winner (wink wink).

why is Sanofi, six years later, incapable of buying an oncology conpany or product? Seriously the worst at acquisition. They had 8 billion at one point to buy a company. Just got scoped again by BMS. Absolutely terrible at it.

it is worse than ever. Olivier is the worst!!! STAY AWAY! Olivier, go back to France and resign!
Sanofi has had a revolving door of terrible leadership! Going all the way back to the Sanofi/Aventis buy-out then the merger w Genentech. The only thing they've successfully launched in almost TWO DECADES is Dupixent and that was bc it is literally a wonder drug. If reps can't sell that then they need to get out of sales altogether. The only reason people stay is for their pensions. There is no accountability outside of field sales who really make the money for the organization.

Does sanofi still suck implies that at some point in the past, sanofi did not suck. I started at the Aventis Merger and sanofi royally sucked introducing mandatory call average expectations on hospital reps. This dynamic distracted from the job of raising sales. Can someone from before that time tell me if sanofi sucked beginning day one?

Dupixent was driven by Regeneron
Sanofi is just along for the ride as usual.

Sanofi sucked from the start. They were saved by the co- promotes with BMS.on Plavix. Plavix was a cash cow and then when the Aventis merger came Sanofi benefitted from more cash cows like Lantus, Lovenox. Sanofi has never launched a drug on their own with any success.

In the ninties, Deheq took multiple successful companies, most less than 1000 reps i.e. Aventis, and formed a lumbering autocracy of 10000 reps and tried to run it from top down from Paris. Shoulda named it Clusterfriggen Pharma.
Everyone on the bottom could see they must Embrace the Lie or My way or the highway. Sounds like nothing has changed.
The French duck. Deheq destroyed Sanofi will his rampur of 10,000 reps for Accomplia that was voted down by FDA. His ego was huge. Talking to a national sales meeting in French with caption English being g shown behind him to let everyone know what they think of sales teams.

In a recently released Cochrane review, it found that Sanofi will continue to suck in 2025, with a confidence interval of 95% and a p value of >005. The study was conducted by 183 sales reps in 48 states. The authors concluded that these results were in alignment with the 2024 and 2023 findings, respectively. The study intentionally excluded management types based upon their biases and their willingness to do as they are told.
