Does Sanofi still suck?

Way better gigs out there. Sanofi is the most poorly run company in pharma. Sanofi can't launch a drug on their own. Every successful drug Sanofi has had is by way of co- market. The management team and the revolving door of CEO's reek of incompetence . Salaries are below industry standards and bonuses are a joke. Bonuses always have a last minute adjustment and can be late arriving with no explanation. They get away with what they call NCF. National Correction Factor. Meaning if you kicked ass on your quota and the company overall didn't hit its quota they punish you in the process. Easily takes thousands of dollars from you.
Everything about this company is bad. Fake culture, audits left and right, poor lunch budgets and a nasty HR environment. Run from this company. High turnover is the norm along with pitiful raises.

You are an excellent writer and I bet you could find a better job utilizing those skills.

well said!

Honest benefits are great , salary stinks and management is even worse.
Home office does nothing , come and go as they please no accountability.
Layoffs constantly, just not a happy place for reps.

It really depends on the BU and manager.

If every part of your job is managed by reach and frequency, then it sucks. But that's all pharma.

If your manager let's you do your job, then it's not bad. The salary does suck compared to other places. But the benefits are pretty good (except how expensive Healthcare premiums are), and when you accrue extra PTO for being here a while, it makes it more difficult to leave. The company is doing more to develop people within, and trying to place employees in other areas if a layover is happening. I have been seeing that the past few years, and that has made the biggest impact in me hanging around. That, and having a great manager.

Super glad I left this place 5 years ago. This is the first time I have checked out the cafe pharma thread since then. Yup. I made a good choice. So many better opportunities available elsewhere.

Took the package and ran. Best decision I ever made. Met some good people, some terrible people. The handcuffs were on pretty good but once they offered the package-peace out bitches. Bank the cash, maximize 401k and load up on antidepressants. The whole industry is a cluster fuck but Sanofi may take the cake.

Been a sanofi watcher for many moons and the goal is to have enough money from stock sales to keep
the ship afloat. Little attention paid to getting the ship somewhere, just avoid sinking. Accomplia=
12 billion $$$ loss but kept everyone in salary and bonus' for five years. The high div. attracts buyers.

The CE0 came to Sanofi around 2017-18. He's done nothing but slash and burn and hasn't moved the stock. Sanofi has been a mess for 25 years with the revolving CEO's and failed launches.

Sanofi CEO: Drugmaker has stocked pipeline but must win over investors

Sanofi laid out 12 “blockbuster” prospects, but do jittery shareholders have the stomach to wait until their potential is unlocked?

So you’re telling me we have a chance? Prospects? Can we execute? Why the jitters?

Sanofi can't launch a product on their own. This has gone on since the late 1990's. The CEO list is mile long and everyone of them would be better suited working in a carwash.
