As we are moving to a new model, our current roles , and those of our supervisors, with will no longer exist, in their stead, entirely new rules will be be created, which will entail more expansive responsibilities. Essentially. We are starting from scratch; our jobs are being eliminated, new eoles created. And we wil . E free to compete for those jobs.

Diversity is always a goal. Since some groups are usually not proportionate represented our numbers, this our talent pool, it becomes difficult to obtain the desired effect. Hence, the desire to make the pool for the new organization as diverse as possible. How do you impact this goal? You bring in candidates from the outside, regardless of diversity characteristics.


There is no discrimination in this. As since our jobs are being eliminated, no one has a RIGHT, to be part of the new organization. Genentechs goal is to have the most talented, diverse pool as possible. Our competition will be the best available in the industry, not the best of Genentech.

Are you afraid of the completion? I'm not; I say. Bring it on!

So you know for a fact that Shit Show Shelley has a job guaranteed? Biggest dumb ass in all DNA. It will never happen!

Guaranteed like Mike J’s Biogen boys? Gotta hand it to him. He takes care of his guys, Biogen or not. Gave the heads up to Bill A., a rumored relative, and Steve H, who got new jobs before the dissolution of the RSD role. Evan L. and Ray S. get new director and AD roles quietly and new Ohio and Michigan HDs? They are MJ’s guys too. Deserving? Some maybe, but we will never really know will we? This nepotism is exactly what the ecosystem hiring process is supposed to prevent. Is anyone paying attention? Do they even care? This is why I’m leaving soon. So long Genentech.

We are so diverse and always have been as far as ethnic diversity. This is such a hot topic in the last year that has been shoved down our throats. Really? Is the diversity lacking in top mgmt is that the issue? Im at a loss for what lack of diversity we have, and I have been here for a few years. Between LGBT, African American, Asian, Middle Eastern, Caucasian,( I apologized I missed anyone) I think we have always had it covered.
