Diversity is always a goal. Since some groups are usually not proportionate represented our numbers, this our talent pool, it becomes difficult to obtain the desired effect. Hence, the desire to make the pool for the new organization as diverse as possible. How do you impact this goal? You bring in candidates from the outside, regardless of diversity characteristics.
