Describe Derm Co-Promote

So you are specifically saying that for REGENERON positions, candidates will need BOTH Derm and biologics experience? And Genzyme will be more of the "B" team? So why did Genzyme get first pick of the candidate pool?

I'm sure every hiring manager is different. So maybe some hiring managers will want both derm and bio experience and others one or the other

Well regeneron hasn't started interviews yet so right now no one can say for sure they're going to require both biologic and derm experience, that's just rumor.

As for Sanofi...I can only speak on my own experience. First, I heard from other people interviewing as well, even their hiring manager only has dermatology experience but has never sold in biologics, and that's the manager. Personally, during my interview, I was told they don't care if you have both, you just have to have either dermatology experience or biologic experience.

To the last poster, Derm experience means established relationships and understanding the dynamics in these offices instead of wasting time trying to build this during a launch.

Means absolutely nothing in derm. There is no specialty with near the access that people have in derm. And certainly not going to take relationships to sell this product. If you think so, then you don't know biologic sales. This product will be an easy one to get time with customers on and it will take someone familiar with logistical issues to be able to help an office. Not someone who is friends with all of their derms. how ridiculous.

I have both biologic and Derm experience and it amazes me how some biologic reps think it's so difficult. It's not that hard.. Maybe more hand holding in the office. But, please some of you need to get off your high horse.

It depends on how good you want to be. I know a lot of bio reps that do well with a drug, but don't know they're ass from a hole in the ground when it comes to answering a legit question about the protein. If you want credibility, know the science behind the science about the drug you sell.

i spoke with the recruiter and he told me that Regeneron was only requiring self injecting biologic experience at least two years. The manager might have flexibility but the recruiters were told two years biologic experience for the Regeneron candidates. Maybe you were told differently I can't speak to that only to what was shared with me. I think that is so wrong, I have experience selling a biologic to derms and I have been more successful than my non-derm biologic experience colleagues since I did not have to establish my relationships and credibility in my office.

I have heard they want both derm and biologics--I think they want 2 years or preferably more of both.

Has anyone heard when face to face Regeneron interviews are being conducted? I had one phone screen with the recruiter and nothing else.

I doubt this product is not approved. I wouldn't be too concerned about that!

please knock it off with your special font and cryptic messages. Let's all just try and help each other uncover pertinent information. Thank you.

I agree. Thanks for the post. I don't like these cryptic and immature messages. Let's all try to help one another!

Is this going to be a buy and bill drug? As far as coverage, do you think insurers will pay since it's first in class?
Appreciate any real answers. Let's be mature here folks!

Also, does anyone know the cost of this drug? I know it's not out yet, but does anyone know the supposed cost? I know no one will pay cash, but I'm curious if it will be as expensive as some other biologics like Humira , etc. thanks
