Dermira...

A bunch of babies on here! Over 8,000 applicants and only 100 spots. If you didn’t get a spot, then that’s life. Many of you loved Dermira, got passed up, and now hate them. I didn’t make it to the finals, and I’m happy looking for other opportunities. Grow up people!

I never said or stated that I hated Dermira. I never said anything negative at all. It was just a simple question because I have not received a rejection letter. That’s all. Clearly you must’ve misunderstood or misread what I wrote. From what you wrote, it seems to me that you are bitter.

You’re right...I quoted the wrong post. My post has nothing to do with you having a screen and now in wait mode.

I’m not bitter at all. It’s not the first time I didn’t get a job. I’m not going to rip a company for passing on me....that’s just dumb.

I can't imagine why they would hire anyone without established relationships in Derm. That would delay your launch by six months of trying to figure out the accounts.

This BY FAR is the most ignorant post in all of Cafepharma. This clearly shows what a rookie you are and have obviously never sold in any other disease state period. This could not be more of a narrow-minded thought than anything. A top rep (and has) can sell anything, can launch anything ...and can develop relationships immediately...especially in a launch situation. If anything, a great company would avoid a one-sided rep with no other experience. You want to see what great reps can do? Go on LinkedIn and you will see top reps with multiple Presidents Club Awards in several different areas of medicine and several different launches with no downtime. There is no downtime in learning a territory...you just do it.
