Delay.......

Um, we are still getting paid full base and bonus. If you can’t live off of your base and bonus payout, then something is being done wrong on your part. When the product launches of course we will make more, but consider yourself fortunate they decided to give us full bonus payout despite the delay. Starting to think maybe you don’t actually work here because it doesn’t seem like you know we are still getting paid out.

I am referring to long term. Several reps are worried about lay offs. If the fda puts too many warnings on the label, then the patient population would be smaller and less reps will be needed. But who the hell knows what will come.

layoffs!?! We haven’t even launched yet. This is pharma, layoffs are a possibility no matter where you’re at. If you can’t take the heat, then get out of the kitchen.

Second this response. Layoffs happen no matter where you are in pharma. How long have you been in the industry? Can’t believe people are worried about this already according to you. No signs point in that direction as we currently stand. If you are worried about 2+ years from now, that is ridiculous. You would have the same concerns for 2+ years from now at any pharma job.

Out of curiosity, what's everyone's base? Someone (with far less experience) casually threw theirs out to me: $157K and now I feel I'm underpaid. I negotiated, and only got $142K even though I have 10 years of derm and Rheum. BTW, my home office connection said DO NOT WORRY zero reductions in salesforce. They knew we may get delayed and budgeted for it. Enjoy your summer and fall!

RIF will eventually happen. The territory’s are cut way too small.

My offices are closing to reps again in California. It will most likely vary state to state.

Was California ever open? The dems want that state closed. It sucks because Covid will probably shape the industry for years. Offices that were open to reps in the past may never open up to reps after Covid is in the rear view mirror.

No need to worry as their is a plan in place should we get black boxed. We have identified several products that we can acquire that would make up the difference. We will be fine.
