Culture at Abbvie

Great place to work ! Top knotch Management. Salary above industry standards. No layoffs and nice benefit package. Welcome aboard

This is either a joke or a legacy Abbott / abbvie person. If you are in primary care you be OK. If you are a specialty rep. Then move on. Nice people. Very sophmore like in many ways. Defensive mgt. not always truthful.

This posting is obviously incomplete. Where is that Ethel, or Mabel when I need her.
I believe the first sentence was supposed to have been prefaced by the following:
"If you have worked for a CRO in the third world you will find crappvie a... "

The clause that begins "No layoffs" should have been prefaced by "If you make us bazillions of buckers there will be..."

"Welcome aboard" seems fairly standard. I believe seafarers heard that as they stepped onto the Titanic.

In house...depends on the environment.

If it's T/D, lot of top down

If it's Marketing, good luck. If you want a friend, get a dog

If it's CA&O, you will be welcomed, questioned, then optimized.

Sales is sales...DM sets the culture. Good luck on your interview.

Welcome Aboard There, Meter Matey!

...ABBVIE we put the "fun" in dysfunction.

Bob your heads in meetings, never question your superiors no matter how dumb they are. Always bob your head, despite colossal mistakes committed by mgmt. and pretend they are the second coming of Jesus-you will be fine.

It is turbocharged Abbott culture-though they keep saying they are trying to change it. Reminds me of teenagers trying to show how cool they are.

Not many franchises left. We're running out of products and we'll be running on fumes. It explains the defensive self-preservation mgmt. style.

AbbVie is like most large companies, they will pay you well if you produce, fire you if you don't. The management is all about making themselves look good and they will want you to help them. Management dose not want to be questioned. They only want yes men/women even if you have a better or even proven ideas. You will question why people are in the positions they are in but you will soon figure out that its not what you know its who you know. With that said, play the game and you can do well both in a career and provide well for your family.

Just like the parent company, Abbott.

I think Abbvie is a great company. If you think otherwise, then you must have little or no skills.
Ive watched hundreds of these kind of people come and go. Now they come to cp with attitude
because they lacked ambition and skill set.

Does telling yourself this dreck really help you to forget that it is precisely a lack of ambition, skills and ideals that keeps you at this Kmart of Pharma?
