I can't believe anyone would be so naive to believe merck would roll you over. Not a chance. They have you with no benefits, no car, no vacation.take it or leave it. They aren't going to roll anyone over. The contract is suppose to go through 2014. Slim chance of going beyond that.if I were you and you want to move forward with your career, I would start interviewing soon. Big layoffs in pharma which means more competition.no chanceof a car either, we were laughing when we read this Come on guys. What are you drinking?

If you can predict the future, you should be not wasting your time on this board. How do you know there are big layoffs?

You might want to google Novartis and Amgen. Bot did major layoffs this month
 






Ut oh..i sense some frightened full yime Merck reps checking out this board..and yes our EPBU group has been responsible for the job of selling Dulera ....and being successful..the job you guys werent good enough to do
 












Merck flex contract is not flex. They are micro managing our time. I worked full time and worked the same hour I am working now. I think most of us are fed up with the nonsense. If you have a great dm that understands flex, that makes it better. Ours left to a better job.
One extra day a week and you could get benefits, a car etc. this s bs.i am trying to get on with my old dm. Can't believe they won't pay for snow days, which have been impossible to work.a vacation week,, snow day, sick day would really be nice but will not happen.
 






Lucky to have a great dm..theres some truth to what your saying but as far as snow days..my territory is hard to park ..but was still able to get my three days in..they are requiring more and more if us but si far its still manageable
