company car pro or con if they charge us

Not true. I work hard. I do not want a company car. The reasons are I will still keep my car which. Means I will still have to pay for maint, insurance , etc on my vehicle. I think 300 a month is too much for part time.my paycheck would be smaller and I do not need an extra car.

Good lord, will you stupid moronic dimwits quit going back and forth on this matter? You have beat it to death. Watching you clowns go back and forth relentlessly on a worn out topic is like watching two monkeys fight over a Milk Dud.

Sell your car, dummy. Dump it and invest the money.

Everyone knows a company car is worth plenty more.

If it ends you have options....buy a cheapo till the next job, a one year lease or a temporary rental.

Look for a long contract job if you want to own....or get real job one with a car!!!

Couldn't I just get a moped or one of those lazer scooter? That would be so cool and probably help me get rolled over! OH YEAH!!!!!!!!

Leasing a car is not a smart thing to do. Most people who lease want to drive a showy car but do not have the funds to buy it. I would use the monthly car allowance toward purchasing a car. In the end, you have a paid off car. No car vote for me.

Most people I know have low priced leases under 150 a month! Not everyone is showy. Zero or minimal down brings the cost on a one year lease to 200-250 range less for 2 years.

Did both and I will take a company can hands down.
No fuss with repair, tires, insurance, milage and headache rentals...company car is a dream!

No. Not if it's a company car, but if it's your own car then it's at the discretion of your manager. Apparently, they decide whether or not you're allowed to own a dog. And as for the smoke, you bring on a ride along..It better be damn good. If it's not, you will be reported for cigarette smoke in your own vehicle. You need to understand that your job is to chauffeur your manager like he is a famous actor. You are not here to sell.
From the point you pick him up from the airport, to the time you lay across ponds of mud to be his red carpet... You must know that basis of your existence is to make your boss feel like a really big deal.

Is there any restrictions to what kind of music we can listen to in the car when a DM is riding with us? I like death metal and I know many DMs do as well.

I would stick with Christian Death Metal...Bring a bit of blow and a sharp razor blade. You'll need to make sure you cut out some smooth lines for your wanna be rock star DM. It's part of compliance and you don't want to show up on a "Do not rehire list."
