As someone that is just discovering these Message Boards for the first time, I have to ask;
Who the heck is managing this company?
It looks and sounds like one big train wreck!
I am certainly not an "expert" regarding the use, or need, of supplemental oxygen, but I am absolutely sure that I would never use this company for one of my loved ones.
Ummm... Houston?... We might have a problem..........
If we in fact do theu set-up then we should get the commission. All the pccs do is complain about the money so just give it to the person that deserves it. If Im on call working its worth more then 7 dollers!
Your job is so hard as a tech....deliver tanks and set patients up. Most of you have know idea what reps do, so my suggestion is to interview and if you get it let's see how well you can sell. The main reason your a tech is the fact the you should know a "sleep machine" is a cpap, bipap or sv unit. The fact that don't know the proper terminology just shows your lack of education. There's a reason your tech, remember that. If you don't like it quit! Plenty of other people would kill for a job right now!
Whatever. With my o.t and your new commission structure, I make MORE $$$$ than you!!!
Who's the smart one now?????????? LOL

You suggest an interview? With this company?
WE ALL KNOW NOW WHO LACKS EDUCATION!!!!!!!!
You have all lost sight of what you are doing.
You are as bad as any PPS bigwheel.
Home oxygen is an incredibly important service. Think of the grandmother who can pick up her portable and visit her new grandchild just home from the hospital; without home oxygen, she would be in a nursing home-and likely never see that grandchild.
It takes everyone in a home oxygen company doing their jobs to make this happen; Service Techs who deliver the oxygen, instruct the patients and caregivers on safe use; Customer Service who answer the phones and place the orders; billers, because you can't serve anyone without income; salespeople, for the same reason; managers who keep things rolling as they are supposed to; and every one else in the organization-even the people who clean the restrooms play a part in that cylinder delivery. All work together to accomplish something very important.
PPS management does not get this-they focus on profit over service. You are focusing on ego over service.
ANYONE focusing on ANYTHING other than serving the patients should be in a different profession.
You know what the funniest and most ironic thing is? The Patient Care; "Whatever the hell" you call yourselves..... thought as if you wielded some sort of "power" over the "drivers" as you called it, and NOW............ the shoe's on the other foot!!
How doe's it feel??????
When and where are the audits occuring? What changes occurred with commission structure?
I heard only tiers changed but nothing else, still100 for cpap and o2.
