Besides, I always thought it would be fantastic to mount someone with way more education than I. Let's get it on.....
What about Florida?
Is the feeling of "This is an experiment and the sales reps aren't going to do anything to help this win" universal?
It seems as though this position is designed to help out the sales reps from a clinical standpoint and do education.
I also have a phone interview next week for a csc in the southwest. Ph.D. with clinical experience and strong contacts in the area but no sales experience.
They seem to be posting CSC jobs all over the country.
This thread worries me a little.
Pay is good, but you will be a primary care rep and working for the managers who don't know what they are talking about.
RN: 80K-95K/Year, Bonus 29K/year, car & benefit
PharmD to PhD: 90K-110K, all others are same
MD plus additional Degrees like MS or PhD: 110K-120K the most, all others are same
Your associate directors
Amy S: she is not a PhD, nor RN, or NP.. She has MS in some scientific field --> Bi&^CH
Tena W & Susan S: RN but never practiced --> NOT SO SMART
Angelina: ex-Merk exe. no science degree, --> Dumb ASS
John S & Rick: Pharm D. They know stuff.. --> Brains but no balls
Hope this info helped.
Response:
First off - you are completely off base and wrong with regard to the salary ranges and correlation to degrees. The numbers you quoted are too low.
Secondly - to then mention AD names and provide your commentary regarding each one is not smart nor professional - and potentially career limiting. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who is behind this. The CSC group is relatively small and cohesive.
Do you really think that managers and others do not read these threads!!! Further do you really believe that your unanimity is protected!!!
Do yourself a big favor - grow up - if you do not like it - you have choices - as 'you ' all seem to feel - well then why don't you all act on your big mouths and prove it to everyone!

I had a phone interview on Sunday and got an email saying that I was invited to a face to face in Newark next week. I am disappointed that the hiring manager did not call me because I do have some more questions concerning the position. I would like to know what they mean when tey say 30-50% travel. The person doing the phone interview had no info and proved of no benefit to me. Anyone have any insight?
