Spot ass on! If you don't sell just like your manager used to sell, you were "objectively" rated extremely low on competencies. And ET will tell you how completely objective everything was. When humans are involved in evaluating others, that is the very definition of subjectivity. If that is the way it had to be done, fine. But don't turn around and treat us as naive 4 year olds and tell us it was objective. Trite but true, don't piss on me and tell me it is raining!

Sure. Go with that. That way, you never have to do any self evaluation or self improvement. You’re super awesome, but this was an exercise in manager egomania, huh? Give me a break. We needed to cut heads, and you didn’t make the cut. I’d encourage you to get better at your job or it might happen to you again.

I did make the cut because my manager rated my competencies high. I had friends that didn't and weren't rated high. Sorry I hit a nerve with you by pointing out the truth. You cannot convince me nor can you even convince yourself that managers don't have biases when ranking the competencies of their direct reports.

They do have biases. Managers like good sales people with strong competencies and dislike bad sales people who aren’t good at their jobs. Is that a problem?

I think you’re under the impression that KSP cares what you think or want. If she did, you’d probably see her act differently than she does as opposed to anonymously fighting with you on CP. But, if it makes you feel better to think that you’re getting in some solid jabs straight at the source, more power to you.

I think she definitely cares. She wishes every one who calls her out on CP would just go away. When has experienced this before and wants no part of bad publicity. Trust me.
