I do not believe he is able to be conscious at the level you propose is reasonable. He does not "see" or h ave a feel for what the team thinks, much less the world. And yes, leaders do get a feel for that sort of thing, they see things for what they are, and people for who they are. That is what true leaders of others, and enterprise, do, and that is how business thrives.

Exactly. How can Phadia continue to thrive when it's leadership is so poor. You can't motivate people when they think you are deceptive or unethical. A good leader takes ownership of the team and empowers them. You can't control people but rather you need to encourage and guide them. In my past work life, I was part of a real team where we consulted and respected each others opinions (even if different). Can't wait to head back there but still unfinished business here.
